Feminine and flowy
What a lovely all-around summer blouse. Unexpectedly, the fabric is a stiffer polyester, which helps the blouse hold its shape nicely, rather than drooping or wrinkling. Other peasant blouses can be quite sheer, but this one is mostly opaque (approx 80%). Packs well for vacation, too.

Gorgeous colors, awkward fit
I wanted to love this, but it was too big on the top for me. The neckline gaps away from the chest in a strange way. The length, fabric, pattern, pockets and overall silhouette were lovely, but I could not wear it without feeling like an exhibitionist--so I did not.

Simple and pretty
Wore this to dinner on hot-weather vacation. Loved the great bright color and delicate crepe texture of the fabric. Pairs well with a variety of necklaces. Cons: Runs small in length and waist. Shoulders were perfect, but the waist fit tight and kept riding up (not a relaxed gather as in the photo).

Pretty and special, but not fussy
Pros: Sparkly, colorful, fancy without being overly showy, modest scale is easy to wear for a smaller person. Cons: Clasp was difficult to work and came undone a couple of times.

Highly wearable formal dress
PROS: Easy to wear, flattering, comfortable, and the high neck eliminates the need for many accessories or a special bra. The lace and underlayer felt both heavy and luxurious. Length is good for shorter stature. CONS: Collar was looser than photo and sagged in the front. Some signs of wear (i.e., one or two loose threads had pulled from the lace in the back).

Tricky sizing. Runs big!
This pretty top has difficult fit issues. The material is stiff and boxy, not stretchy and form-fitting like I expected. The stiffness makes the armholes gap and feel very exposed, which is problematic because they go all the way from the sternum, down under the arms, and up all the way to the collar. It's also unforgiving at the waist, because it bunches up on the hips/pants. Maybe it's meant to be a crop-top? If so, it's way too long. Unflattering bustline is another disappointment, since I'd have to go bra-less and the girls aren't so perky anymore. Maybe an adhesive bra would work? Perhaps sizing down would help, but I don't love it enough to wait. I'm returning this one without wearing.

Love the fabric and pattern, but even the small is very wide and tent-like. Not a flattering look on a short frame. The back tie and open back are not to my taste. The back gaps open, which further distorts the overall silhouette.

Perfect versatile summer dress
Gorgeous fit on top, forgiving flare below the waist. Length is just above knee on my short frame. Versatile daytime piece for spring-summer. Pairs nicely with a short jacket. The dress is fully lined, very well constructed. I just might have to buy it!
