Absolutely perfect sequin dress!
This is the perfect scenario to rent a dress: a drag queen themed bachelorette party! Based on the reviews I knew I'd fit the small, which is unbelievable! But it is a super forgiving dress, and I wouldn't hesitate to rent it again.

Showroom discovery
I tried this dress on at the NYC Henri Bendel showroom after my stylist handed it to me to try on. I probably wouldn't have picked it out but I loved it! Very flattering, and beautiful brocade fabric. Since it was March, I paired it with leggings, boots, and a leather jacket for warmth and also to dress it down for the film screening I attended. I'd love to rent this dress again. Update: I reviewed this dress months after I wore it. I assumed I wore the 6, as usual. But I never even rented a 6. The size 4 fit great in the showroom and I took it with me.

Lovely and versatile necklace
I loved this necklace and wore it with my FREE birthday dress - Magnolia Gardens Dress. I think you can dress it up or down, and length is very versatile as well. I thought it was great and would rent again.

Such a fun and flattering dress!
I've actually rented this dress a few months ago but didn't get any pictures! So I rented it again for a Swing dancing wedding where it fit in perfectly. It has an empire waist so it is very flattering and loose around the stomach/hips without being too bulky. This one has been worn quite a bit and I could see wear and tear, but other people aren't looking at it so closely, so it's not a dealbreaker. When I rented it this time I still requested the free second size (8) but a week before the event RTR emailed me to let me know the 8 was damaged beyond repair and they could only send the 6. Since I'd worn the 6 a few months ago I didn't anticipate a problem (AND they gave me a free second rental which I used for the rehearsal dinner. Thanks RTR!!)

When the second size (8) of my original dress rental was damaged beyond repair, RTR sent me an email letting me know they could only send one dress (6). To make up for it, they gave me a code good for any dress rental for the weekend, regardless of price! I selected this one and although I'm usually a 6, I sized up based on the reviews and got the 8 and 10. I liked the way the 10 fit in the waist, but it was too big in the shoulders. The 8 was still great though! RTR got plenty of great word of mouth from me this weekend!

Fun fabulous birthday dress
This was my free birthday dress as a PRO and I enjoyed it immensely! I was able to get the necklace as well with my $50 credit. This is the first RTR dress where I didn't fit the size 6 as well and so I went up to the 8. Both dresses were hard to zip, and there is a hook on the inside of the dress that I would have never been able to do up without help. I could have worn it without a bra, or with a simple strapless one, but since other renters have complained about the dress' boning sticking in their ribcage, I opted for a strapless, backless bra (the kind with boning in the front) This way, I had some reinforcement. I didn't have a problem sitting down the way others had. Loved the print, perfect for a birthday party at an outdoor lounge. :) My only regret is there was only one photo taken.

Couldn't resist
I know I have a wedding coming up, so I just needed to find an excuse to rent a dress one more time in a year to make it break even (would you believe I've already done that?) Now I get a free birthday dress as well! Plus, I'll still look for more excuses to rent! On another note, I noticed some of the dresses I've hearted have gone down in rental rates... further removing barriers to get all dolled up with RTR!

FABULOUS statement necklace!
I rented this to go with the Candy Wrapper Dress on Christmas day dinner at a fancy restaurant. Since it was cold, I had to dress down the outfit with tights and boots, but the elegance of this necklace brought the dressy level back up! Wish I could have kept it, but was SO fortunate RTR was having a sale on the rental price. I LOVE IT!

Christmas shimmer dress
We vacationed in Washington DC for Christmas and I wanted to rent a dress for Christmas day dinner. This was a perfect choice for a family gathering; modest cut, but bold with stripes and shimmer. I rented the Gold Shadow Bib Necklace to go with (Yay! RTR had it on SALE!) I wore two layers of tights and boots to keep my legs warm, and a black wrap for my shoulders. So sad I had to send it back!

Beautiful color, intricate lace
This was my add-on back up dress so I only got to select one size. I chose 6 since many of the other RTR dresses have been a 6. If I were to rent this dress again I'd want to get an 8 as well. WAY too short for me (I'm 5'3" with thunder thighs) and a bit tight. But I made it work with leggings (I didn't get a picture with the leggings, which is a pity) and boots. I do think it's a lot easier to make a designer dress that doesn't fit perfectly work for you for an event versus a cheaper outfit that doesn't fit right. My husband really liked the lace over the cleavage. He would. ;D

Looked and felt great!
The satin fabric of this dress is so luxurious so not only does it look great, it feels great too. Great if you have a little junk in the trunk, and it cinches your waist (don't worry, you can still breathe) I got a 6 and an 8, tried the 8 on first and thought since it was snug in the waist I wouldn't be able to fit in the 6. But the top was too roomy, so I gave the 6 a try and it was fine! Not over-tight. I wore this to a friend's wedding and received many, many compliments. As always, everyone loved the RTR concept. Thanks RTR!

Mod little dress
Wonderful dress I wore for my birthday party. Lots of compliments even from people who are "not into fashion." I like that the dress is made of thick material, it feels sturdy and well made. I actually wore it twice, once on my actual birthday for dinner with my husband and also for a party with friends. Wore spanx for the party, not for the dinner, and thought it was better with but not too bad.

Sparkle city! So fun wearing this for a night on the town.
I received this as my Stylist Surprise "Mystery Bling." I love how versatile this is, you can wear one or four of the bangles and change it up a good deal. I wore all four out for a nice dinner and I loved seeing them sparkle. I usually go for something daintier than this, but it complemented my dress so well, I'm glad I had a stylist help me pick. Would definitely go for the "Mystery Bling" again.

I was told: "I love your dress, I've been watching it shimmer all evening"
Many of the reviewers said it ran large, so I guessed my size based on the height and weight of other reviewers and the size they wore (6) and then one size down (4). Both fit fine everywhere except the bust, which is made for bigger chests, however the person who had rented the 6 before me had safety pinned the front and that really worked for me, I didn't have to adjust the pins. I loved how the dress fit my (ahem) oversize belly and booty, so if you are self conscious about that yourself, this dress is great! I danced the night away, no worries about moving in this dress. This was my first RTR experience, and I call it a smashing success! I loved this dress, and I notice there is at least one more like it in another color (filing that away for future reference!)

Loved having the stylist select some jewelry for me. Fun and different. :)
Paying $15 for a stylist to choose an accessory (valued from $15-$150) that matches my dress is for me, a no-brainer. I received a pair of earrings and a bracelet that frankly, I wouldn't have chosen myself. But when I tried them on with the two dresses I rented, I was glad I let a stylist help me. They complemented so well, and kicked the whole ensemble up a notch. Would definitely recommend!

These earrings came as my stylist selected "Mystery Bling." At first I wasn't sure gold would be better than silver for my navy blue sequin dress, but when I tried them on together I realized what a statement they made together. They really complemented the dress in a sophisticated, elegant way. These are WAAY more bling than I would usually wear, and certainly bigger earrings than I usually select with my short hair. But it worked so well, I was very pleased. Would definitely do the "Mystery Bling" again.

When the dress was on the way, I showed a picture of it to my seamstress friend who squeeed with delight. :)
My fashion-forward sister picked this one out per my request to help me find "something bold and eye catching, unlike anyone else at the party." I wasn't sure about the fit, so I rented a different dress, and then got this one as my rent-one-get-the-next-for-$25. (If you do that, remember you only get one size. No free backup) How excited was I when this one fit so well? Exceedingly! Although truthfully I would recommend for A and B cups. My C cup runneth over just a little bit. Love the way the skirt poofs out.
