When the dress first came in I just threw it on without spanx to see if I thought it would work. I'm pretty curvy so I never go without spanx. To my pleasant surprise the dress already looked awesome!!! I was nervous about it before I put it on because of some of the reviews, but it was my best rental yet. However, I have a pretty large bust and the left shoulder strap was still a bit long, so definitely have safety pins ready. I loved that it was flattering, while not looking like your run-of-the-mill ruched dress for bigger girls. I felt really pretty and my waist looked so small! The length was PERFECT too with my 3-4 inch heels! Love!

The overall fit of this dress was a bit odd on me. It seemed to fit looser on the top than it did on the hip and butt area. This is rare for me because my bust is on the larger side, being at a 34 DD. With this being said, I also don't think by any means that my lower half is disproportionately larger than my top. The dress was also a bit loose through the waist, so I think this dress would probably be better on someone with a straighter, top-heavy figure. the length of the dress was perfect with my 3" heels and it wouldn't have been too long with a shorter heel, either. The dress was very good quality and was a nice, heavy fabric.

I saw these earrings last minute when I was placing my RTR dress order and imagined them to be a big statement piece. I quickly added them to my cart without looking at reviews or other pictures because the rental price was a good deal. When they came in they were beautiful, but, as I said in the description, they were a bit smaller than what I was hoping for. Unfortunately, despite the fact that my hair is on the blonder side of light brown, and due to the size of the earrings, they didn't really show up against my hair--which I wore down the night of the ball.

I loved this dress when i saw it because it looked flattering in all the reviews I had read, and while I knew the color would be hard to pull off, I thought it was just so different and couldn't pass it up! However, I did not end up wearing this dress because the slit was so high that I was afraid my spanx might make an appearance, it was too big and the top kept falling off my boob (I usually would have gone with a M, but this was a second backup that I had overnighted because of sizing issues, so I was feeling fat and over-shot it), and when I put it on I honestly thought that it didn't leave enough to the imagination when I looked at my backside...It was pretty, I just really need to stay away from jersey...Also, it was a little short for me with heels on.

While this dress ran true to size, it was a very awkward fit...I have a fairly large chest and it was a risky move on my part to try and rent this one with the back the way it was, but it was so pretty I just had to give it a shot. Unfortunately, the straps were awkward and uncomfortable and even though it was surprisingly not tight through the bust, there was a lot of extra fabric under the arms that made me look like I had wings. Tall, thin girls would be the best for this dress, I think. I felt that it made me look large and it was definitely too short to wear with heels.

This dress was beautiful! I'm not really one to wear lots of color, and strapless is difficult when you have large tatas up top (like myself--34DD), so this was definitely different than something that I would normally pick. In fact, I typically try to do my best at hiding or minimizing the look of my chest area in hopes of looking smaller. However, I had read so many reviews about how this dress was made for larger-busted women, so I decided to give it a shot and try something different. I originally ordered this dress in a size 8, which is what i normally wear, and the top fit like no other strapless dress ever had. It was PERFECT. Unfortunately, the middle portion of the dress was...not so perfect. The ruching detail was beautiful, but kept bunching up underneath the bust of the dress. I decided that the best thing to do would be to go up a size, but was afraid that the top would then be to big. Sooooooo I had a size 10R and a new backup dress overnighted to me. When I tried on the size 10, the mid-section and bust were a tad too big and the ruching still kept riding up, which perplexed me, but i figured I would just have to deal with it and make it work. I did have to keep pulling up the dress while also pulling down the ruching throughout the night, which was a bit irritating. Additionally, the length of the dress was okay, but was too short with heels--even my shortest ones--so I was forced to wear flats. Overall, I think the dress really was lovely, it just wasn't perfect for my body and would probably work on someone thinner with a large chest. This was also my first time renting and I think I have a better idea of what would would be better for me on my next rental.
