This is one of the most amazing dresses I have ever worn. I'm 5'8" and with heels the 6L worked perfectly. The lace is actually a bit sheer, so be aware of that for whatever bra you choose. I'm a 34DDD and there was plenty of room for my bust, I didn't feel restricted or tight at all. The dress fit true to size and I got tons of compliments all night! I definitely recommend this for a black tie event, this was for a 20s themed charity gala.

Runs kind of small, glad I got a size up. It's pretty tight if you have a large bust (34DD) but I made it work. I got compliments all night and felt amazing in it. It definitely holds you in so no spanx needed!! Wish I could've kept it, I loved this dress!!!
