Felt great in this dress at 18 weeks pregnant
The color is beautiful - it's much more purple than black. It's a lightweight dress which makes it great for summer. Not sure id like it as much if I weren't pregnant as there is a lot of fabric to the dress. The L was about an inch too long for me with 3" heels but it was the only option in the size 4. Wouldn't recommend for larger busts as it was a bit snug for me.

See through and lace was raw on edges
Fit okay but straps were very long as other reviewers have stated. I would have had to pin them down to wear this. It was also totally see through even though it's lined. Didn't like the raw edge of lace around the neckline.

I could not get this dress on. It was so small.
Definitely size up. I wash't able to get the M due to availability and I couldn't get the S zippered. It also was very wrinkled - needed steaming. Not a winner for me. Looks beautiful on others in the photos.

Pretty neckline
This dress had a gorgeous neckline. It was a little big and the rest was very simple, bordering on plain. Got lots of compliments, felt good in it!

Such a fun dress!
This dress definitely had some stretch and the smaller size fit me better. It was very fitted in the torso. Loved the flowy skirt and how it moved while i danced. Would rent this one again for sure!

Great dress!
Loved the style of this dress and know that David Meister dresses generally fit me well. This was no exception. It was slightly loose in the shoulders/bust but not too big. For me, I had to pull my strapless bra down a bit so that it didn't show (the vneck is pretty low cut). I would also recommend tucking in the dry cleaning straps as they otherwise popped out (I simply tucked them into the sides of my bra). Also, the material was lovely (very soft) but it doesn't stretch and there is no slit in the skirt so if you don't have narrow hips, you may be happier in a size up. The color is much more beautiful in person that it is on the model here - it's a bit deeper than it appears in pictures. Overall great first RTR experience and excited for my next dress this weekend!
