This is one of the most striking dresses I have ever worn. Giving summertime, classy, pinup vibes, I for so many compliments on this dress! I wore for an early evening cocktail-wear rehearsal dinner and then into an evening welcome drinks at a big bar in the city. The smocking in the chest was perfect for me with no bra (small chested) but if you wore a strapless it would be super smoothing. The sleeves definitely have a certain drop-down that happens as the neckline is so angular but I just kept my posture up all night and was fine. I suppose you could tape them and it would work as well. The dress has pockets and the tapered pencil skirt definitely gives a curvy look (I have big hips so it filled out). Zero complaints, this dress is a showstopper.

This dress has ALOT of fabric so be ready to hold it up when going down stairs or dancing but my goodness, that is really the only con. My style is typically minimal, classic and I went with this one for a black tie wedding and I got hundreds of compliments. I felt so pretty, so striking, and so unique in a world of black and navy slinky dresses. I think it went well with me because my hair, jewelry and makeup were so simple so if that seems like you, get it! Only other con is minimal: I had beautiful velvet dusty rose Loeffler Randall platforms on underneath and they were unseen because the dress is so large lol. Now I’ll just have to find somewhere else to wear them!
