Great but super itchy
Agree with other reviews - it’s SUPER itchy wool. Fit beautifully, but had to wear with long sleeved turtleneck. Would have bought it if it wasn’t so itchy!

Comfortable and Flattering!
Such a cute dress! Really slinky material that was super comfortable to wear on a hot summer evening. Dress runs true to size. As other reviewers have mentioned, the back side is a little see-through, so select your undergarments carefully! Loved it and would definitely rent again!

I loved the color online, but in person the faux shearling collar and faux fur cuffs look really cheap. Sent it back. The L fit me well with room for a sweater underneath.

Lovely colors, runs large
RTR recommended I size up to an XL (I'm normally a 12 or L in tops) and the XL was way too huge. The colors and material are lovely. Fit is boxy. Wish I had gone with my gut and rented an L! Lesson learned.

Great dress for white tie ball
It was fun to stand out in red in a sea of dark dresses. Dress is scuba-type material, so not very forgiving (wear spanx!). It was stretchy, but the one strap limited dancing a bit. The 12L was perfect for me (I'm 5'9") with mid-size heels. Material makes it slip down a little when you dance/move, but not a big deal. I would rent again, but for the one thing that drove me CRAZY - the little Black Halo-labeled (not Rent the Runway) garment hang straps on the inside are super short and dark, and they kept popping out ALL. NIGHT. LONG. Random people kept coming up to me to tuck the little straps back in. SO annoying; it drove me bonkers all night. I would have just cut them out if I'd owned the dress. Would be hard to pin them and not see it through the scuba material. Maybe hem tape? If you can solve that minor issue then it's a great dress!

Va va voom gown
This was a last-minute replacement as my original choice was no longer available. I'm a 34F and it felt a little too revealing up top, I kept tugging at it all night to pull it up. A bit too much cleavage for a black tie wedding. It's also really thick, HEAVY material, so dancing and walking around were a challenge. Overall it was ok, my fiance absolutely loved me in it, but I felt it was a bit too sexy for the occasion. Probably totally fine if you have a smaller chest. Also, I would wear a thicker heel - my stiletto heel kept getting caught in the fabric of the hem. I'm 5'9" and with 4" heels it just brushed the floor. I love Herve Leger, but I think I'll stick to their short dresses.

Great party dress, loved the pockets!
I wore my usual size 10 in this, and it fit my very full chest well. Had to pull it up a few times throughout the night, but nothing unusual for a strapless dress. Very comfortable and flattering on my body. Great for hourglass shapes to accentuate the waist and flatter fuller hips. I'm 5'9" and the length hit me perfectly. I got so many compliments on it, and my boyfriend really wanted me to keep it! It was really fun to dance in and the pockets were so handy. I would definitely rent it again.

Great dress for summer wedding
I did not want to send this back! Fit true to size. Regular length was perfect for me with flats. So pretty and elegant, received compliments all evening! It is very low cut, and I had to pin it so it wasn't quite so revealing in the front for my 34F chest. Likely not as big an issue if you have a smaller chest. Highly recommend - I might rent it again for another wedding this fall!

Cinderella dress
I didn't end up wearing this dress and went with my backup option, but it was very pretty. It's flattering and reminds me of Cinderella. I just didn't love it as much as my other choice. Flattering on a larger bust, forgiving in hip area.

Lovely gown for a white tie ball
I was glad I read the reviews because this dress does run very small, and is very low cut. I am usually a size 8 or 10, and I took the 12L in this, which was perfect with 3" heels (I'm 5'9".) There is absolutely no stretch, so size up if you're on the fence, especially in the waist area. The top was a little big and sagged off my shoulders a bit, but I made it work for the evening. The small train makes it a bit difficult to dance, but overall it was a beautiful dress and a good choice for my event. The silk of the skirt is just lovely and I felt like a princess. It was nice to be in this gorgeous gown amongst a sea of black dresses. I got lots of compliments and my date loved it.
