Better than it looks online
The fabric is less brown, and more deep plum than I thought, and also significantly more woven with metallic thread...to me, it was gorgeous and very flattering for my small-chested athletic build. The strap was slightly long for me, so didn't have much of a support role, so I did have to occasionally work to keep the dress from riding up. I would definitely recommend dress tape! Overall a great dress for the event though.

Super cute dress, relatively informal
I am tall and thin but with a pear/rectangle athletic shape - this dress flattered for sure! The material feels casual, perfect for a backyard wedding, but the craftsmanship is excellent and the skirt is full and great for dancing. Overall I was very happy with the dress.
