This dress fit like a glove...even on my tall frame! I did find that it ran a little small/narrow, however the fabric was thick and fully lined. It was not the easiest dress to dance in, but was still perfect to wear as a wedding guest!

The beauty of this dress is in the details. The neckline and velvet empire waist are very flattering. My one complaint is that it does run short, so if you're a taller girl you will have to be mindful of shoes you decide to pair with it.

I wore this dress for a rehearsal dinner. I got lots of compliments, and personally loved the details on the dress (embroidery, lace and velvet trim on sleeves). However, I am very glad the only activity I had on the agenda for the evening was sitting/standing pretty (read: not a dancing dress for tall girls). The dress ran small to size, especially in regards to length. I typically wear a size is 6/8, but due to length of the body and sleeves on this dress I wore a 10.
