This was a nice dress for work in a business-casual environment
At 5'3", the hem of the dress was lower than the model's, closer to ankle-length. Overall style and fit was beautiful. The fabric drapes perfectly.

Cute dress.
The dress has a trendy, "box"-like fit. Wear your true size or size down. Paired it with flat form sandals for a casual look at the office. The contrasting colors do not pop as much as they do in the picture, perhaps due to laundering and normal wear. If the colors were more true to the picture, it would definitely be a four-star rental. Earlier reviews noted the fabric stiffness. However, it was not stiff for my rental. Again, it may be the effect of laundering.

Other reviews suggested that this runs small. I went one size up. I suggest going with your true size and, if you get a back up, size down. The straps were long. The upper body/bust area sat low because of the straps. The circumference of the bust area was loose and ill-fitting. The bottom portion of the dress fit appropriately. I returned the dress without wearing it.

Perfect dress for a day at the office.
The dress has a flattering fit. The lining fits to your frame, leaving the drape of the outer fabric very flattering. The fabric has a nice weight. It would wear will year-round, when paired with the right accessories.

Nice for a casual day at work. Wore it with black oxfords.
Nice dress for a low-key day at the office, and an evening of live music at the park in Hipsterville. Paired the dress with black oxfords. The fabric is thinner than I expected. There is lace on the shoulders, also unexpected. Surprised at the number of compliments, given that I nearly returned it without wearing it.

Worn to a late-winter Casino Night benefit. The snake skin look, achieved with sequins, was unique.
I ordered Medium with back up size Small. The event was a late-winter Casino Night benefit party. The "snake skin" look is achieved with sequins. The proper effect is achieved with a size slightly smaller than normally worn (it must be form-fitting to get the effect in the pictures). If given a chance, order your proper size and a size-down as the back up dress. I wore a regular bra. No complaints about the fit. Be aware: the sequins turn the opposite direction when you take the dress off-- after trying it on, remove it very carefully.
