The 4R fit true to size. When I ordered, I was concerned about the length because I'm 5'4', and I didn't want it to hit at my calves, but the lace hem fell right below my calves, unlike on the model. So although it didn't fit exactly as the RTR website shows, I did think it was elongating and very flattering. I received tons of compliments throughout the evening. It was unique, gorgeously embellished and perfect for fall. Highly recommend.

I received so many compliments, this dress was perfect for a winter black tie event. After reading the reviews, I was concerned that it might be too short, but the 4R was perfect, even with 4" heels. I tried the 2R back up size, and it was too small in the length of the arms and the shoulders. More importantly, I was comfortable and was able to wear a regular bra so I didn't have to readjust or fidget with a strapless. The long sleeves and length were a bonus so I wasn't self conscious about my arms/legs, but the fit was of this dress was both flattering and elegant. As other reviewers noted, the print is not as vibrant in person as on the website, but the dress still stood out in its style and dark floral print. Small complaint--the hem of the dress looked a bit worn, probably from being previously dragged on the floor, but was unnoticable when I had it on.

Fit perfectly, Herve Leger is constructed so well, as you can tell by the heavy weight of the fabric. I wanted something classic with a little zhush...so that when I looked back at photos, I wouldn't think, "What was I wearing??!!?"

I rented the 4R and 2R, and ended up wearing the 2R because the 4R was a bit loose on top and the straps were a little long. I received tons of compliments on the dress, and I loved that it was unique, modern and feminine.
