I was so worried about this potentially being too short (or too long) that I neglected to consider whether it would fit in the bust, and I couldn’t even zip it all the way with my chest in it. There was no stretch in the bust area whatsoever, so I didn’t wear this.

I got this gown as my larger option because I was afraid the one I initially rented was too tight in the bust to wear. This was very lightweight with lots of stretch. Little to no support for anyone with a full bust. Despite its beauty, I ended up choosing my first (tight) option because this was literally falling off me. It was very gorgeous, but I’d be sure to choose a size down for the second dress if you rent this one.

This dress was definitely tighter than expected, as I ordered it as my larger option in case my first option didn’t fit. There was no stretch at all, and it was very uncomfortable with lots of sequins. While it was an absolutely beautiful option, I didn’t anticipate so many sequins and being so uncomfortable. If I didn’t have anything else, I would have worn it- simply due to how beautiful it was. But I did not want to sacrifice comfort for beauty. I rented for an engagement party but I think it would have been nice for a daytime wedding too.

At first, I thought this wouldn’t even zip due to the construction and how tight it is in the chest. Definitely cannot wear a bra with this one. I ended up having to zip it in front with my chest out of it, and then spin it around and pull it up over my chest. It was very tight in the chest for my normal size. However, I have a feeling that may have been necessary due to some reviews saying that it was loose on their chest and kept slipping down. I wish one size up had been available to at least try it. I did have to pull down the waist area especially after sitting, as it tends to bunch up a little bit creating a slight bubbled effect, but it wasn’t annoying enough to detract from the beauty of the gown. I did end up wearing it, as all my other larger options were uncomfortably too big, and I’m so so glad that I went with this one. This dress got a ton of compliments (and I only knew three other people at this engagement party that I wore it to). I think it hid my mom-belly area nicely, and it was a relatively conservative option, since a lot of gowns are backless, extremely low cut, etc. The length hit just under my ankle, which was nice since I was able to wear it in the rain without worrying about it dragging. It was very lightweight and flowy and to be honest, I didn’t want to take it off. I felt like I could live in this dress. I wore a black mesh sleeve over it, attempting to hide how tight the top was, and paired it with black sandals and a green bag, but I also think Gold would have looked beautiful for accessories. I would definitely rent this again.
