Beautifully made, waist can feel snug

I love this skirt! The proportions are perfect and the wrap is cleverly designed to prevent flashing, maximize swoosh, and still allow pockets. I wore with a black satin tee and black heels. Felt ready for a fundraising pitch to ladies who lunch! The waist actually buttons in addition to the tie, and was a smidge tight for me (my waist is typically 30” but I have been eating a lot this time of the month). You can easily still wear this without doing all of the buttons if you ran into the same issue, depending on where you want it to sit on your waist.

Fab! Size up, watch your cleavage

I wore this to an awards gala for which the attire was cocktail. It is September in Texas do we all want to wear fall clothes but it’s still warm. I needed to be memorable without seeming desperate or overdressed and this truly was perfect. I got so many compliments! I was glad I read the reviews and sized up from a 6 to 8. It’s more chic if you have room to slink around in it : ) The only catch was the deep V— as I wore it (or especially sitting down, passing the rolls, etc) it kept trying to show my bra. I was able to pull the back down but if I were to purchase this I would have the shoulders taken up. As a rental, next time I would skip the bra. Overall so flattering and really accentuates an hourglass shape!!! So easy and timeless.

Beautiful and versatile

I got this as a back-up option for a wedding and didn’t end up needing it, but I loved the dress so much I went out of my way to wear it! I wore it to the opera (which, sadly, is not that formal anymore, and it was in November so I put a sweater over the top) and I got soooo many compliments from strangers on my “skirt” plus many admiring looks from people of all sorts. The fit is snug around the ribcage which is so often flattering on nearly any body type! It’s a lot of chest to show, unless you want to add a layer like I did. I loved the feel of the fabric— it’s heavy but soft, with a ton of volume and drape so it moves wonderfully when you walk or turn. (Especially if you throw your leg a little 😉) It’s thick enough that this may be too warm for summer, but otherwise can be styled for any season. I would be careful about length— I am 5’9” and wore heels but still had several near-trip moments. It was a fun princessy feeling to gather up the skirt for stairs, but maybe not every person or venue would accommodate that. And there’s pockets!!!! The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because the fabric was a bit frayed along the back zipper, and parts of the hem were pressed incorrectly/rolled outwards. Probably no one would notice these things but I did and if I were wearing this for a big moment, those details would have bothered me. I m so glad I rented this and had the chance to wear it!! Dresses like this remind you how clothes make you feel differently about yourself. 💕
