Nice piece but more of a casual striped velour
I thought this would be a bit dressier than it is. It is a short (not plush) velour with a vertical stripe that does not have velour texture. It was fine for a casual friend's' weekend gathering,but I would not characterize it as velvet. The sweetheart open back was a bit too much for my workplace.

This jacket for well and is very nice quality. It was comfortable to wear for work and then dressed up a bit more for Friendsgiving. Fun piece!
