Not my vibe
Rented this as a wedding dress option, but it ultimately didn’t feel like me or the vibe of the bride+groom. The halter neck is also kind of odd in that it’s not a standard halter, but some kind of one shoulder tie thing? Idk. Threw me off.

Too heavy for hot summer wedding
Rented this as a wedding guest option and decided otherwise. The dress is very heavy and the straps are very thin—putting a lot of weight on your shoulders. The heaviness of the dress also didn’t seem like it would be the most comfortable for a 100+ degree wedding ceremony and reception. Lastly, the bright red/pink color didn’t totally seem appropriate given the vibe.

Great for warm weather wedding
Wore to a wedding where the temperature was 102*F. It was perfectly flowy and kept me cool. Very easy to throw on, though I did need some initial help with the zipper. I also loved that it was long enough for me to wear Birkenstock sandals (not the most wedding-y, but within the vibe for the bride+grooms style), without feeling derpy or out of place since they were largely hidden.

Wore this top to work with high waisted jeans and to dinner with friends with mid waist jeans. I think it worked well with both. Cute, casual, easy. But perhaps tough to lift your arms without showing bits of bra and maybe more. Size up if that makes you uncomfortable.

I wore the 2P to a work event, where I was a featured speaker over an intimate cocktail hour and then dinner guest. I got tons of compliments and felt very confident. I chose the petite over the regular because even with 3+ inch heels, the R was long enough that it would have picked up any mud at the venue. The torso felt short in both the P and R lengths. Be careful bending.

I read other reviews and did t think I’d experience gaping given my small bust size, but I was wrong. Shoulders were tight and I definitely risked popping buttons. The top is also shinier in person, so I felt very dressed up for my casual workplace. Would probably be nice in a bigger size. Size up!

I absolutely adored this top and would have purchased it if it was in my budget. The goldenrod color is vibrant and rich. The fit was great, even as someone with itty bitties and zero cleavage. Wore with high waisted jeans. Best to wear in spaces where you won’t be lifting your arms, definitely showed off my entire stomach and bra otherwise.

Wore to the Eras concert and fit right in! I liked the dress overall, but had two complaints: 1) one side of the chest had quite a bit of gaping, no matter how much I shortened the straps… maybe should’ve worn pasties and 2) the sequins did start to rub my underarms in an uncomfortable way after 8 hours of wear… and it was a 12 hour wear kind of day. Also, didn’t bug me but it might bug other people: it’s def a little short. I wore spandex and felt just fine.

I wore a Size 0 and am 5’3” and 115 lbs. They were so tight and the fabric has zero give/stretch that I couldn’t take full length steps. Doable for a slow day at the office. But wouldn’t have worked for the conference I was hoping to wear them too. Note that the opening/closing is a measly side zipper and the waist has no stretch/elastic. I would rent again in a size up, but I’m nervous I would lose the tightness in my hips that made these flattering. Great color though!

This was way, way too small. I thought I was going to dislocate a shoulder getting it on and taking it off. This fit perfectly on my 32A chest, but I was at least an inch off in being able to zip the side zipper. I would size up a size or two, but I think then I’d have gaping at the chest. But I love the subtle rainbow and sequin and would be interested in renting again in a different size. Would def pair with something high-waisted though.

Best dressed PhD seminar
PERFECT for my spring PhD dissertation defense seminar. I wanted something that was color-appropriate for spring, covered my chest (since I’m prone to anxiety rashes), and would catch any nervous sweat. Bonus points for nature theme since my discipline is in nature resources. So perfect I bought it! Fit super well. Buttoned all the way and didn’t feel uncomfortably tight. I rented this in consideration of my PhD defense seminar, but ultimately did not wear it. It felt like too wintery for a spring event and I was worried about pit sweat being apparent given the color. The arms are snug, but not unbearably tight. I didn’t think the peplum was super flattering on my frame, but others disagreed. The sweater did feel like it was made with high quality fabric and would have been a warm option for a fall or winter setting.

I ordered this in a 0 and 6, based on recommendations to size up. The 0 was really tight and super cropped. I wore the 6 for less of a cropped look and for overall comfort. I also loved how warm it was, especially with the transitional spring UT weather. Would rent again. Downsides: -Both the 0 and the 6 definitely still would have shown my bra if I had lifted my arms above my head. -I needed a second person to take the shirt on and off.
