Elegant & Comfortable
I'm 5'2" and wear a size 6 in pants but with broad shoulders, I wore this dress in a size 12 and it fit well. The adjustable straps were key! The cowl neck gives it an interesting neckline and the asymmetrical hem was perfect for my height - with three inch heels it didn't drag and was easy to move, walk and dance in. The texture of the material is soft and stretchy which made it very comfortable, forgiving and flattering; and the cut of the dress gave me a more curvy silhouette. A regular bra is a definite no-go with the low back and so is high waisted shape wear. It was perfect for a fall wedding and can definitely be worn for a more formal or black tie event with the right accessories.

Lovely Dress
Didn't end up wearing it but I liked the way it fit and felt. The color is a pretty deep blue and looks black in low light. The velvety fabric is stretchy, very comfortable, form-fitting and forgiving. The adjustable straps make it easy to wear and everything stays put. The length was good for my height too, hitting above my ankles. I would rent it in the future for a special event.

Might be better for tall gals
I’m 5’2” with broad shoulders and a size 12 in most cocktail length formal dresses (even though most of my pants are a size 6). The front of this dress draped fine but was way too big in the back and hem hit the floor. It probably would have fit better if I went down a size or two. But even if it was more fitted, on my short frame it would more likely look like a pretty toga. On someone much taller it would look great.

LOVE THIS DRESS!
I’m 5’2” with broad shoulders and slip dresses are challenging but this one was perfect for me. Adjustable straps were the key - was able to get a secure and comfortable fit so nothing was too loose or strained. The dress cut is form fitting but not body con so it was forgiving AND flattering. The open back gives it a sexy touch but makes a bra and certain shape-wear a no-go. The length was perfect with my 3” sandals (and that almost never happens for me with dresses like this). It packed beautifully for my vacay with minimal wrinkles. It was perfect for my breezy tropical night out and I felt amazing in it. Can’t wait to find an excuse to rent it again!

Not Flattering
Even though it fit, dress did absolutely nothing for me; but that may be because of my build - broad shoulders, boxy figure and short waisted. May work for those that are petite and curvy. The skirt puffed out in a way that gave me more of a belly and because the material was a bit stiff, it didn’t drape in a way I would have liked. A total miss for me.

Comfy & Elegant
Love this dress! You can definitely dress it up or down. I wore this to my niece’s graduation luncheon and it was perfect. The fabric has a little weight to it and cut was forgiving but flattering. I’m 5’2” so it was a little long but with 2” sandals it was fine - didn’t drag. I wore a Large (I have broad shoulders and usually wear a 10 or 12 depending on dress) and it fit well. I probably could have worn a Medium if I wanted a fit that was more snug. I couldn’t wear a regular bra because the armholes hung a little low so opted for a sticky bra. If you are able to wear a bra you might need a racer back. Temps were in the low 80s and we were in a shady space so I didn’t feel too warm and had a shrug for my arms in the air-conditioning. That said, I don’t think I would wear it in really hot weather. So happy with this rental!

VERY Small Fit
Got the large and x-large based on reviews thinking XL was likely the one that would fit. Not even close! It fit more like a tight medium. Was able to zip it up but my body was stuffed in like a sausage so didn’t wear. Oddly the shoulders fit - all in all, a very strange cut.

Classy & Comfy
I loved this dress and so did my hubby! I’m usually a 10 or 12, depending on the dress, and the 14R fit really well. I have wide shoulders and boxy figure; amazingly the cut of the dress + Honeylove shapewear = curves! The material is stretchy, soft and perfect for cold weather events. I wore a sticky bra for a bit of lift (but could have gone without) and used fashion tape in a couple of spots to keep the fabric from puckering along the neckline. The only downside was the length, but at only 5’2” that’s nothing new. I used more fashion tape to shorten the hem 3 inches, wore 3 inch heels, and was good to go. Standing, sitting and dancing over the course of 6 hours was no problem. Wore statement earrings and bracelet for some sparkle. I would definitely rent again!

Not tall enough to wear
I loved the dress but I'm 5'2" and even with 3" platform heels, it was too long for me. That's the only reason why I gave it 4 vs. 5 stars. I wore it around the house for a few minutes and kept stepping on the hem so I opted not to wear it. I was afraid I would trip or damage the dress. It was disappointing because I liked how it fit everywhere else. I'm not busty but I have broad shoulders (wider than my hips) and it fit me well up top without a bra. That being said, even with my small-ish chest, I would have needed fashion tape to minimize boob exposure within the triangular opening. The stretchy material made it comfortable enough for me to sit without having to hold my breath. The slit was not as high on me as it appears on the model (you know, 5'2" and all) but still made a statement! If this dress was ever available in a petite size I would definitely try it again.
