Rented this for prom... The size 8 fit perfectly and the size 6 was tight over the chest. I wore the 8 and was very comfortable but had to use some double stick tape to keep my bra from showing along the armholes. I loved the pockets! The material is heavier almost like a brocade and unlined. It's a great modern dress.

This is a beautiful dress. The fabric is a heavy cotton and needed pressing after I received it to remove wrinkles. The neckline is wide and probably would have fit better if I had a larger bust (I am a 40C). It has a deep V so if you DO have a larger bust and don't like a lot of cleavage this dress is probably not for you. I think it is close to true to size. I am big around the middle and was very happy with the fit other than the issues with the bust. I rented the size 20 and 22 and wore the smaller size. My usual size is 20 or 2x.

The ordered size was perfect, I didn't need the second size. I'm a size 4, 5'4, 120lb, and it fit like a glove, and came to the top of my knee. The cutout in the back didn't come down too low--no bra strap showed. I added a simple silver belt to complete the look.
