Cute, but didn't wear
It was cute and I really wanted to wear it, but it was too tight in the waist for me.

Didn't wear because it was too small
It's an adorable little dress, and I wish I would have been able to wear it. As other reviewers noted, and I knew about this dress, it does run small. At least a full size, and possibly two sizes small. But the fabric was nice and thick (so I think in the right size it would hold you in and smooth well), and it looked very well made. I also think even if I could have zipped up all the way, it would have been a little short for my comfort.

Loved for a summer wedding!
I bought the XL, just to make sure I had enough coverage in the chest, since I'd read other reviews that said it showed a lot of cleavage. I loved this dress, the way it flowed, the little cap sleeve, and that it was very flattering. I would have considered buying it, but I have been losing a little covid weight and would have needed a size down. I would definitely rent this again, and possibly buy.

I couldn't button over my chest, but the rest fit well. I used to be a 10, but now I'm wearing more 12's. RTR recommended a L, but I decided to go to an XL and still couldn't button the top two buttons. Otherwise, it's a pretty dress, but the fabric is fairly thin.

I rented an XL, to be safe since I normally wear a large but I've put on a couple pounds during Covid. But this was way too tight for an XL., and has no stretch. It's beautiful and I would love to have been able to wear it. It fit everywhere else but the ribcage. Highly recommend, but size up.

I love the dress, but it was too small around the rib cage, so I couldn't wear it. In the dresses defense, I've gained a little weight with Covid, but just know that it's beautiful, but doesn't have any give.

Great color and flattering.
This brand is one of the more flattering that I've found. Having said that, this particular dress was a bit tighter on the tummy than I wish. But I got so many compliments, and the color was really beautiful and stood out.

Runs small, but great fabric and fit
I usually wear an 8 or 10, depending on the brand. The 12 in this dress was very tight, but it also held everything in, so I felt like it was more flattering than other dresses when they are this tight. Unfortunately, I couldn't wear it, because it arrived torn, but I would have loved to have worn it.

A stepped up everyday bag

Loved this dress! Super flattering!
I loved this dress! I got lots of compliments, including from my teenage step-daughter (and she would have told me if it didn't look good!). This highlighted my curves, in a good way, and made me look longer and leaner than I really am. I did wear spanx with it, to smooth the stomach area, since it is very form fitting and showed my lumps in that area. I opted for a black slip style that goes up to where the bra would be in the back and was worried about how it would look since the lace is open in the back. My husband and best friend both thought it was part of the dress and were surprised when I told them what it was. I'm 5'6" and the length was perfect with heels. It has a tiny bit of a train where it brushes the ground behind you, but not enough to get in the way at all. Loved it!

Very flattering.
This was my back up dress, and I didn't end up wearing, but I liked it a lot and would rent it again. Runs a bit small, so order one size up. I got the regular length, and at 5'6" it was touching the ground, but not enough to wear much of a heel, so I would have preferred the long in this dress. I thought it gave me a waist, and it hid my bit of a tummy, so I would have worn it without any spanx type undergarment. Pretty color and nice to have something other than basic black.

It was a cute bracelet and I was excited to wear it, but it ran so small that I could barely get it latched. I don't typically have this problem, I feel like my wrists are very average size/thin. Disappointing.

I loved my first choice so much that I didn't need this back up dress, although it was nice to have options. Hard for me to give a full review, since I only tried it on, but it would probably work best on someone a little smaller up top than I am. I am a 36/38D and the cups were definitely runeth over. Loved the detail at the waist, and it was a fresh color that would have stood out in the crowd.

LOVED IT!
Got so many compliments on this dress, and I wished I could keep it! It is unusual and stands out, which is a nice change from the sea of black dresses at so many of these events. As far as fit goes...Like other reviewers have pointed out, it doesn't have any give. I wore spanx to help make sure that I was smoothed out, especially in the stomach. I got a few comments on the fact that the girls were out in this dress, especially when I was sitting, but I am a D, so I would think a C would not have a problem at all.

I usually wear an 8 at JCrew, so I got the M and L in this dress. I ended up wearing the L, and it was very form fitting. The fabric tended to ride up a tiny bit, so that the built in slip would show at the bottom. There were a couple little loose threads at the neckline, but my necklace distracted from that. Overall, I liked it, but didn't love it. Having said all that, my husband loved it and thought it was very flattering.

I love these earrings. I wore them to a formal event with a red strapless dress and they were a great compliment. They match perfectly a bracelet that I own from JCrew, and I wish I didn't have to return them. Love and will definitely rent again!

Very comfortable and flattering
I typically wear an 8 at JCrew, but often designer dresses run small, so I almost always end up in a 10 from RTR, which was the case with this dress. I love how the dress is made to give some shape at the waist, because I thought that made it more flattering than some other dresses. The chiffon in the front hung longer than the underdress, so I had to pin it up a little, so it wouldn't drag in the front and trip me up, but it took me about 5 minutes to do that, and my husband said that it was not noticeable. Overall, I was very happy with this dress, and highly recommend.

I just couldn't wear this one, as much as I wanted to...
I loved this dress, the style and color are beautiful. Unfortunately, I am short waisted, and I just couldn't stand how my back looked in this dress. I fully acknowledge that this is an issue I have with my body, and not with the dress, but I just couldn't stand that my back ripple (not a full roll) showed as you looked from the side. Sadly, I didn't wear it, but I still highly recommend!!!

Hubby loved this one; not for the faint of heart!
This is definitely not for the shy woman! It is extremely low cut, and if you have much chest, it can be an eyeful. I used the double sided tape (which RTR so kindly included in my package), and asked my husband to keep an eye out in case it shifted, which of course he was happy to do. I was a tad self conscious, but I did get a lot of compliments. I must say, it was a flattering dress. I wouldn't wear this to a wedding, or work party, because it is a bit too sexy, but it works for an evening event.

Great dress for NYE!
I really loved this dress. I wore it with tall boots and was glad it had long sleeves for a cold New Years Eve night. It is fun, not overly revealing but definitely sexy for a night out. I think this one can work well across seasons, and can be dressed down a bit, as I did, as well as being dressy. The only reason I didn't give it 5 starts is because the fabric was just a touch worn, and it seemed like it might have been worn a lot already, but I don't think anyone else noticed that part. RTR's service is always great.

Unusual Cut, Very Form Fitting
This dress is beautiful, and I wanted to like it, but I couldn't quite get there. The style is great and I love that the cut is unusual, so that it is more than just a simple LBD. It doesn't hide any imperfections, however, and it isn't possible to wear smoothing undergarments because of the slit (I guess you could do something only around the waist, but I only had the kind that is shorts). Go for it, if you don't have much to hide in the midsection!
