I'm 5'5" (5'8" in the pictured heels), 175-ish lbs, 36 D bra size. Went with the LR; keep in mind that while the lace is beautiful and the dress is comfortable, there's VERY little stretch to it. I wore my usual control-top panties underneath, but no need or a bra or any other shapewear. Everything felt secure and well-made; I felt very confident dancing my heart out! I especially loved the airy sleeves, since I needed something cooler but I'm not a fan of my upper arms. Would rent again!!

I really ended up loving this dress, BUT only with the right shapewear. (I would have given it a 5 if there were any hopes of it fitting looser in the middle as pictured on the model.) I'm normally a size 10 and the XL was TIGHT. I needed my husband to help zip for sure. Once it was on and all the smoothing was done underneath, it turned out great. But in order to wear this, you need to be comfortable with a true bodycon dress. It was gripping my whole bod from my chest to my lower hip. On the plus side, no bra needed and I'm a 34 DDD-E!

Fits exactly like the picture... personally I ordered the next size up because my arms are on the thick side but my usual size worked great, arms weren't too clingy. Good to note that there's NO STRETCH whatsoever in this fabric, so get that backup size if you can!
