Size down, great jeans
I am 150lbs, 5’7”. Originally rented size 28, way too big. If you want the fit shown by the model, (high waist), size down 2 sizes. For a baggier skater fit, size down 1 size. 28 were falling off me, so I got the 26. Pics shown are of the 26. For reference I am a 28-29 or size 6 in most other brands. Fabric is super comfortable and these will be my go-to summer jeans.

RENT THIS DRESS!
Holy moly, this dress is awesome and extremely comfortable. It has a full skirt, so you don't have to worry about your butt/hips fitting in it. Has pockets. Wore to two formal galas and got tons of compliments. I liked it so much I ordered it for another event in 2 weeks. If you have a large bust (like DD), it might not work for you. I am a 34/36B and the size 12 had room in the bust but was not baggy. The back part of the dress barely hit the ground when I was barefoot (5'7"), so if you're tall and want to wear heels it also might not work.

Gorgeous & comfy. Received many compliments. People literally stopped me to talk about the dress.
Fits true to size. I am 5'7" and ordered the L. Length was perfect with 3.5" heels. This gown was one of the most comfortable I've ever worn. Amazing movement when walking. Low back plunge bra will work with this dress, or you can go braless if you feel comfortable with that.
