I felt gorgeous in this dress!
This dress was incredibly fun to wear. The skirt flows out and has structure to it and it's really heavy! The major con to wearing this was that due to wear and tear from previous renting, the pieces to hold the bodice together was coming apart and was scratching me to death! I used some gaffer tape from the caterers to tape me in because I was in horrible pain from it. Once taped, I was good to go! Sizing is true to size, and order one size down so you get a nice tight fit to form to your body. Loose doesn't look good with this dress and there is plenty of room for hips and bottom since it opens up under the waist - measure for your bust and waist and the rest should fit well.

Wore it to company holiday party and it was really easy to move around in all night!
I ordered this dress in red and blue in 2R and 4R. Unfortunately RTR had to swap out the red for a size that didn't fit due to low stock so I ended up wearing the blue. The top had been stretched out from a previous renter, but the bottom fit perfectly. I was exactly between the 2 and 4, but it worked out and wore it anyways. The sizing is true to size, and this dress comes in a variety of colors so I'd love another occasion to wear another color!

Just the right amount of classic and fun to be able to stand out enough but not too much!
I'm typically a size 4, and the 6 was even a bit tight but mostly in the hips because I'm curvy. I would consider going up 2 sizes next time when ordering this dress, which I find is the case with all Elizabeth and James gowns/dresses. I love the neckline to show off arms and the cutouts on the side are great. There's also a very sexy, subtle slit and I loved the color.

I felt very comfortable and the color definitely stood out!
I luckily was able to try this on in a RTR location first because I would typically order a 4, not a 2 and it fit like a glove! The fabric didn't show any "problem areas" and accentuated my curves in a flattering way. I don't typically wear bodycon dresses because I'm curvy on the bottom and small on top, but this was a very pretty dress on. I would recommend ordering a size down and then your usual size for backup.
