I am big busted, so I ordered the 6L and 8L as a back up size. I normally wear a 6, and I tried that on first, it fit fine through the bodice and it even fit around my bust just fine, but I tried on the 8 just for comparison and felt that I had a little more wiggle room and it supported my chest better. I could have used one of those backless plunge bras, but i just put some bathing suit padding in as make-shit inserts, and it worked fine. I am 5' 7.5" and I ordered the long lengths and the dress came right to the floor in 4 inch heels, it was perfect. I will say though that as beautiful as the dress is, it is very heavy, so be prepared to have sore shoulders the next day. I also wore a spanx to smooth things out, and I thought that was necessary since the dress is sooo form fitting. Overall, beautiful dress, I felt amazing and got tons of compliments, and did not want to return the dress after my event!

I am large in the bust (34D), so I have pretty much accepted that although I am a 6, I should always order a size up for my backup size, since I haven't fit into a 4 since my bust grew a cup size two years ago. So of course, I got a 6 and an 8 as my two sizes in this dress. The entire back of the dress is stretchy elastic, so you definitely don't have to go up a size! I would order your normal size and a size down to be safe. I was still able to wear the dress, but since it was strapless, I was pulling it up a lot throughout the night. It is very cute though, I wore it with a nude slip and it was perfect, not too see through. It looked great with turquoise accessories in the summer and I was able to cover up with a sweater for work, and then dress it up for a date at night. A very versatile dress that can be worn casually as a sundress or dressed up for a night out! Great choice, although if I had to rent again I would probably try something else- the dress was great, but I wasn't in love with it. I didn't get that feeling that I had to wear it again.

i loved this dress and would absolutely rent again! i wore it for a rent the runway trunk show at George Washington University! in fact, i am in the process of purchasing this dress from the lilly website in a different pattern! i felt this dress ran true to size, i normally wear a size 6 (i have a D cup size) and so i ordered a 6 with a backup size 8 and i fit into the 6 perfectly! i did however wear this dress for easter, and after a meal the dress got quite snug so i might order a larger back up size if you are planning on an eating night out! but all in all the dress was beautiful and fit great, i got many compliments!

this dress was pretty and it did the trick for my greek formal. however, from the reviews i expected the dress to be more figure flattering and when i put it on it did not nip or tuck at all. it was a bit longer than i expected but not too long (i am about 5' 8). although you would think this dress would be stiff because of the sequins, it was actually quite a stretchy fabric which is why i didnt think it covered my unfortunate lumps and bumps as nicely as i wanted it to! this would be a beautiful dress on a girl with a flat tummy and great curves or a slim body, but it doesnt hide love handles or anything of the like! i was going to wear a spanx under the dress but it was such a hot day, i decided i looked good enough without the spanx and i rocked the dress as it was... all in all i thought it looked nice.
