Loved the color!
I rented this for a wedding but ended up wearing something else. The color is beautiful and it's a great fabric and cut. The only drawbacks I think are the way the neckline is stitched together kind of high up but then gaps loosely lower down. I had to pin a brooch to the front to keep it from gaping. Also for my height I prefer more of a knee length and this is more of a tea length.

Flattering cut, strange fabric
I guess I didn't realize it would be neoprene but the cut was adorable and very extreme vintage looking. I could've made it work with some pinning in the front but the inside seams were just too scratchy for my skin to bear. It would be great for a costume and really accentuated/exaggerated my figure in a cool way but I don't want to be uncomfortable at this cocktail party

Super cute dress for a backyard wedding!
This dress was perfect for the late morning backyard wedding brunch that I attended. Standing up it looked perfect, but sitting down the neckline was a bit loose. I think if you're very busty or taller than me it would fit beautifully, but I was worried about exposing my brassiere and probably should've done some safety pinning. I loved the full skirt and it is nicely lined so it felt almost like a crinoline. Always thrilled to have pockets, too!

Flattering top!
The fit and fabric on this are outstanding! I wore it with skinny black Hudson jeans (my own) and black booties to a party that was part of an early October wedding weekend. I had to use a few strips of fashion tape to keep the neckline from exposing my brassiere but the overall look was very flattering on my figure and the sort of peplum below the belt really camouflaged my stomach. My husband thinks I should buy it but I'm not totally in love with the color. It's really cute!

So many compliments!
I got compliments on this dress all night long! I had rented another dress, a shorter, lace cocktail dress in the same color, but the 14 and the 16 were too big and at 5'2" they fell way below my knees. I had one day left before the wedding so I ran down to the RTR store in Georgetown and they let me exchange it for this one which looked a million times better! The staff were very nice and although they didn't have a ton of options in my size, I tried on about five dresses and this one was a clear winner. It has a lot of structure built into the bodice so I didn't need a brassiere at all and there is an extra layer inside that kind of holds you in like Spanx. I wore Spanx underneath but actually considered taking them off during the wedding when I realized that the friction was causing the skirt to twist around a bit. It still looked great from the front but the back zipper got twisted out of place and stayed that way. I would suggest you walk around in it with whatever undergarments and see if you find it twisting. I think there's enough structure that you could get away with going commando. I wore heels to keep the hem off of the ground. I was surprised at 175 lbs to fit so well into the 12. Everyone told me I looked amazing in it and my fiance was like, "is there some way you can just keep it?" If it came in white I'd get married in it. It looks just like the one Julia Roberts wore to the opera in Pretty Woman. One person said I looked like Jessica Rabbit!

Beautiful and sparkly!
This was sent as my Stylist Surprise/ Mystery Bling and I was very happy with it. I'm taking off on star only because it was actually not the necklace in the photo, as other reviewers have noted. First off, the necklace pictured has a central link coming to a point and the necklace I was sent was round. Also, the necklace pictured is described as Nicole Miller, and that's what the shipping info said, but the necklace I got had a tag that clearly read "Juliet and Company." I assume RTR just needs to update their info. Anyway, it was beautiful and sparkly, looked great with my dress, and I was thrilled to wear it!

Mystery Bling is Awesome!
What a great idea! I'm a girl that sucks at accessorizing. I have jewelry I never wear (I think I'm doing well just to get clothes on every day) and nothing that would really work for formal stuff, so I added this option and was glad that I did. I spent a few days getting psyched about it, wondering what it could be, and then I came on here and found out if I looked at the shipping info I could see what was being sent. I was so terrified it would be earrings and my pierced ears closed up years ago! It turned out to be a necklace that was prefect and wasn't something I would have picked out myself. Way to go, mystery stylists!

I felt glamorous AND smart!
A week before my cousin's wedding I went on RTR and settled on this dress, partly for the price for bragging rights since my family is exceedingly thrifty. I added the Stylist Surprise/ Mystery Bling Option since I suck at accessorizing. I laid out two wraps, two shoe options (silver and black) and picked up a silver clutch. My dresses arrived and I saw that other reviewers' comments about the color were not exaggerations, it is definitely a deep magenta and not as purple as it appears in the photo. I tried on the 10 and thought with spanx it would work, since my personal hourglass is a little fuller on the bottom half. I had taller heels laid out, but when I saw the hem falling perfectly at my knee I went back to the closet and pulled out a pair with about a 2" heel. Getting ready, my mother was zipping me up and suggested I try on the 12 (which I hadn't even taken out of the plastic) and then she convinced me to wear it. It was a teeny bit looser in the back and the butt, but the top front was now much looser and I needed a ton of fashion tape! We ended up in such a rush once I got the second dress on that I didn't really get to see if the 12 was better than the 10. The bridesmaids were wearing a dark purple, so I was actually color-coordinated with the wedding party. I felt like a movie star, and apparently I looked like one too. I got compliments from everybody, including the waitstaff, and I think I told my RTR story a dozen times! I didn't have time to take photos before the wedding, nor did I make it a priority during, so I stood on a box on a stool in my bedroom the next night to take this photo, in which I am wearing the 10. (That's why my cat is at the bottom like "wtf?") Look how perfectly my wrap matches! I had that thing in my closet for years, can't remember where it came from (gift?) and didn't even really like it. All in all, I had a fabulous first experience with RTR and this dress was beautiful and appropriate for my event!
