I was surprised to find the large too big as I typically have to size up in formal dresses. I could have worn it to the party and it would have been cute. Medium would have been perfect. Did not end up wearing this one.

Fun dress for an 80s prom themed Gala but size up. I am apple shaped (thicker waist and upper body) but normally a size 8/10. I struggled to get the zipper up in the 10 and needed a quick replacement sent in size 12. The 12 was perfect. Dress was short but comfortable for a night of dancing. I wore a strapless bra and shaping nylons underneath.

I was thrilled to try this on and have it feel good and look good. I wore it for a gala and was comfortable the entire night. I needed help getting the side zipper up, but otherwise an easy dress to wear. I wore shaping shorts and a Niidoor adhesive sticky bra. I thought the regular length would be a problem as I'm just under 5'4" but it was perfect with my heels. I wore rose gold heels (Naturalizer Astrid) and rose gold/crystal jewelry.
