I went everywhere looking for a dress for my bridal shower and didn't like anything. I ordered this dress on a whim and I'm so glad I did! I usually don't look great in Lilly dresses, but this one was super flattering. I think its because this one had more shape to it than some of their other shift dresses, and the fabric is thicker and textured so it smoothes out any imperfections - no spanx necessary! The 4 fit me like a glove, but I ended up wearing the 6 because it was just a touch longer (I'm 5'8) and I felt slightly uncomfortable in the 4. But I would still say its a good dress for taller ladies. I'm a 34B and I had plenty of room in the chest, even with a bulky push up bra, so the dress should be fine for bustier ladies as well. The dress was super comfy whether I was sitting or standing, and I didn't want to take it off! Both the 4 and the 6 were in really good condition as well, which I was a little worried about since it is a white dress.

I loved the unique back and the lace overlay of this dress. It was perfect for a late summer wedding. Runs true to size, the 4 fit me perfectly. I could have worn the 2 as well, but it would have been tight and I probably would have wanted shapewear for it. Very comfortable whether I was sitting and eating dinner or dancing. I wore a sticky bra (strapless/backless), but I would have been fine without a bra too. The dress didn't require much in the way of accessories, I wore pearl earrings, a gold bangle, and nude wedges. My only complaint was that the lace was a bit worn in some areas. It wasn't noticeable to anyone except me, but there were some snags in the material.

I really enjoyed wearing this dress, and I got a ton of compliments. Four stars because I wish the colors in person were more muted, as they appear online. In person the turquoise is very bright, but it is still pretty. No need to accessorize much, which makes it easy. Very comfortable for dancing and going out on the town after the wedding.

I loved that this dress was so unique, but it definitely runs very large. I am tall, but the 2L was way to long even when I tried it with the highest pair of heels I own. The length of the 4R was ok - but still long. You definitely can't get away with flats in this dress if you are 5'8 or shorter, even with the regular length. Overall the dress is cut very large as well. I am usually a 4, but I could have gotten away with a 2, maybe even a 0. The dress also really covers you up and doesn't show off any curves. I worked with a wonderful stylist to get a replacement dress in time for my event.

The fit was just a little off on this dress, so I didn't end up wearing it. Would be cute for a party or gala, but not quite right for the military ball I was attending. The dress also doesn't do much for your figure, it really covers you up and the focus is on the beautiful fabric. The 4R fit well with flats, the 2L was tight in the bust, and I would have had to wear medium to high heels. The strap was a bit loose on both dresses, and looked a little funny hanging over my chest.

This dress was super comfortable to wear all night, both while sitting during dinner and while dancing (really fun to dance in!). The cut is classic, but beautiful and tasteful even with the deep V and high slit. Fashion tape was a must for the deep V. Even though I am tall, the 4R was the perfect length to wear with flats or low heels. The color was great at a black tie event - you really stand out and I got tons of compliments. This was actually a replacement dress - the original that I ordered ended up not working. The stylist I worked with was so incredibly helpful and put my mind at ease when I was worried about getting a great dress in time for my event. I will be using Rent the Runway from here on out!
