I am currently between sizes 8 and 10. So I would say that this runs a little large as I fit into the 8 perfectly (I'm 5'6" and about 157lbs, hourglass shape) the length was also perfect and it was snug without feeling too tight. The material is soft and forgiving. I wore spanx to smooth out the bumps and loved how the dress hugged my curves. The neckline was not too conservative but also not too low, and the shape of the straps meant I could wear a regular bra. The ruffle and ruching were ideally placed to add detail without adding bulk. I was attending an event where I was sitting a lot and then standing, the material was so comfortable to sit in and wasn't crumpled/ wrinkled when I stood up. I was attending a formal black tie event and this was perfect.

This is a striking cuff and I loved the design. However the color in the picture is not at all what it looks like in real life. I really wanted that gunmetal contrast for my outfit and it was not nearly as rich a color as I was expecting.

I am not one that often receives compliments on the dress I'm wearing. I tend toward a more conservative look that could be also described as a but dull. This dress was perfectly conservative for me - high neckline, not too tight fitting and a cute split up the front which did not go too high - but the dress is not dull. The ruffles are perfect, not overly ruffly, they move well with the dress. The material is nice and thick - I actually KonMari'd my shape wear and forgot to buy new before this event, so had to go without. I would say it is a generous size 10. I think an 8 would have been too small on me, but there was just a tiny bit too much room up top, and I'm busty.

Being the upper end of a size 12, I was so happy with the generous fit of this dress. The ruching detail is in all the right places to highlight my waist and hips. I chose to wear spanks, but probably could have gotten away without because the fabric was lovely and heavy. However, if you are looking to wear this dress on a warm/hot evening, it may not be the most comfortable choice if you get hot easily.
