Great Derby Dress
I am 5'6", ~145lbs, hourglass, 36D/DD, Medium shirt, 28 Jeans (Vineyard Vines/Levi). I absolutely fit a size 6 and could easily have worn it. I chose to go with the 8 because the 6 was a little extra snug only around the bust. The 8 didn't seem larger at all in the waist, but did afford more chest room. It is longer than I anticipated, so it would be great on taller ladies too. Overall, it is very comfortable. The material is thick without feeling too hot. There are tiny iridescent sequins sewn into the embroidery, so as the sun/light hits it, you will sparkle a little. This was so easy to wear! Also, we won best dressed couple at the derby party in this dress.

All the right curves
This dress is pretty great! I typically really love dress the population formal gowns. This has the perfect amount of stretch. I was nervous about the sweetheart neck line and a larger bust, but I felt very secure and I think the bust was pretty flattering. One thing I didn’t particularly care for, and didn’t notice until it was pointed out to me, was if I bent in anyway, the seam where the top of the dress and the skirt of the dress came together would fold in a funny way across my stomach and I would have to pull the skirt in order to straighten that back out. This weird fold is simply a minor inconvenience. I still think that this dress is stunning and very fun.

Probably not for larger busts
I ordered this in size 6 and size 8 and could only wear the size 8. I could get the size 6 up over my hips and waist, but I could NOT zip it behind my bust. The material on either size was super fun and pretty flattering. It’s a thick scuba material, so it does not seem like you really have to wear much underneath the dress in order for it to still look nice. It doesn’t wrinkle significantly, and it's heavy enough to keep the dress lying where it’s supposed to be. Although I love so many things about this dress, I just don’t think it is great on a larger bust. The flower seems to poke out awkwardly with a larger bust.

Stretchy, comfortable, and ELEGANT!
I wore this at a winter formal event for work and got tons of compliments! I wore ballet flats with it and it hit the floor with just a tiny bit dragging. I did not wear a bra with it and was totally secure and comfortable. The stretching material slipped over all the curves and made it look wonderful. I will definitely be looking at this for future formal events.

Very comfortable and great flow
This is a very comfortable, light-weight dress. It was easy to wear all day. I wore it to the office and got several compliments. The only tiny complaints I have are: the straps are very thin and pulled on my shoulders a tiny bit and it doesn’t have pockets. With how flowy it is it could totally hide pockets and make this dress a total dime.

LOVE this - so versatile
I wore this to the office with a black cardigan and out to dinner. It was so comfortable! The fabric is think and stretchy but not loose stretchy. Like hold you in a tiny bit stretchy. the stripes are super flattering. I would wear style dress to work everyday! Also it was very cute at dinner. I got a lot of compliments. I agree with the other reviews that the straps are a bit long so I did have to pull it up several times to stop my bra from peaking but overall it wasn’t awful. I would definitely rent this again.

Comfortable work wear
I wore this for dinner on a cruise. It was overall reasonably comfortable. I think I would have preferred it as a fun office dress. It has no stretch in the fabric so be careful if you are particularly top heavy. The box cut of the dress gives quite a bit of room in the tummy and hips.

A little tight across the chest
I wore this on a cruise. I am normally a M (8) top and M (4/6) bottom. I am 34DD or 36D. This was made to be loose which I like but the chest was just a tiny snug. I ended up just not wearing a bra and that helped. Between the fabric being just thick enough and the pattern you really couldn’t tell I wasn’t wearing a bra but when I tried it with a bra it pulled the chest too tight and it chafed my skin. I don’t think it was particularly flattering but it was comfortable. I don't know that I would rent it again. It was great in the warm weather.

Easy to dress up or down and so comfortable.
I am 140lbs, 5’6”, 36D, typically 4/6 bottom and 6/8 top. I wore the 6R and it fit like a glove. It was fitted in the correct way and not too tight anywhere. It was very comfortable to wear without a bra. I felt fun and classic in the cut and style. It was very comfortable to move around it. It looks great with casual flats and heels! This is a great everyday dress.

Very comfortable and very long
I am 5’6”, 140lbs, 36D, typically a 6/8 top and 4/6 bottom. I wore a MR. It was big on me. I still wore it but it was pretty loose. This was little bit of a problem because the jersey fabric is quite heavy and drags the dress down a little. Also the straps are VERY long. I had to continually fix the top due to the strap length. I probably would have been more comfortable in a S.

LOVE this for work! Or anything else
This dress is SO comfortable. I would wear it everyday! It was about mid-thigh (the only picture I took was at night and is dark). I am 5’6”, 140lbs, 36D, the 6 was perfect! I felt like I had enough room to move but not look boxy. It was think but not hot. It doesn’t wrinkle or jumbled. It looks so cute on. I would wear this everyday!

Very strange cut
I am 5’6”, 140lbs, typically wear 4/6 pants. I got the 6R in these and they technically fit in every way but the waist to crotch length is bizarrely short. When the waist was right above my hip (which it is clearly designed to be) then the crotch rode up quite often. If I sized up I don't think it would have helped and then the pants would have been big. They were also the exact length to wear with flats without looking strange. I wouldn’t have worn heels with this. Also, the fabric is VERY light - like satin PJs fabric. They looked ok when standing but I would not rent these again.

LOVE! So classic
I loved this blazer. The white is crisp and the accent stitching is read and blue (I didn’t realize this prior to seeing it in person). I am 5’6”, 140lbs, 36D, typically size 6-8 top. I wore this to work and got a ton of compliments. It was very comfortable. I almost paired it with royal blue pants to be very colorful but changed my mind last minute. But it did look great with a ton of color too. With black pants the accent stitching was more subtle.

So comfortable!
I got both the M and S and wore the M. The small fit fine but was just a little shorter than the M - too short for my taste. It has stretch so you don’t feel trapped all night. The overall dress is super comfortable and isn’t as hot as I thought it was going to be with all the sequin. I got tons of compliments.

Great for pregnancy too!
I wore this to a formal wedding in October at 30 weeks pregnant. I am 5'6" & I was about 170 lbs & 36DD. It fit like a glove. I didn't wear a bra with this - it zipped up snug enough i didn't feel it was necessary. I don't think I could have worn the medium the next week but it was perfect & comfortable at that time. The lining is a soft stretchy cotton. slightly annoying: the zipper is hard to pull up (get help) & the arm sequins would stick to the bodice sequins.

so comfortable and very easy for a formal event.
I'm 36D, 38-30-39, ~140, 66". I tried on a size 6R. I wore ~2" heels and the hem just brushed my toes. I could have gone with the 6L. It hugged all the right curves and was super comfortable. The fabric has just enough give to let you breath but still holds you together. I did not need a bra at all. The back was so beautiful and I got tons of compliments on the dress all night. I had several people tell me I should just buy it!

Its a little loose and a little short
I'm 36D, 38-30-39, ~140, 66". I tried on a size 6R; I essentially needed flats in this. The fabric was stretchy like jersey and was very comfortable. I had ~3" heels to wear with this dress and it stopped just on the top of my foot without shoes on. even in flip flops it seemed like certain ways I would stand would make it look too short for me. The 6R was relatively loose on me. I may have been able to go with a 4L.

Stunning and Comfortable
I'm 36D, 38-30-39, ~140, 66". I wore a size 6; I wish I had the 8 to compare. I fit the 6 and it zipped without issue but I felt it was a bit too snug for my taste. I got a ton of compliments. The color is amazing for spring/summer. I wore it on vacation around wine country. The material is thick enough you don't need to wear anything under it if you don't want to - I went sans bra. I would consider renting this again. I was so comfortable all day!

Surprisingly comfortable and very "country cute"
I'm 36D, 38-30-39, ~140, 66". I wore a size L. I wore this to a Texas wedding with black boots. I probably would have been better with an XL. Although I received plenty of compliments it was pretty fitted. The lace at the arm holes rubbed on my skin a bit - not to the point that I was in pain in any way just a little red. It is pretty short - I wore boyshorts under it.

Comfortable, Functional, Cute - great for summer parties!
I'm 36D, 38-30-39, ~140, 66". The FIRST TIME, I wore a size 38. It fit well for the design. The neck hole is a bit small but is stretchy. The entire shape of the dress would be a circle table cloth with a neck cut out. It is very bulky. I tried putting a belt on but it just bunched it horribly. With that being said, it is very comfortable. I really loved going to wine tastings and shopping in it. It has pockets which I love! My husband was not a huge fan- he called it "functional." If I was pregnant this would probably be the BEST party dress. I ordered it a SECOND time. I really loved it the second time. I ordered a size down (36) and although the overall design is loose the 36 was better fitting than the 38. I was so comfortable in this. Between the first and second rental I had a baby. I am similar in size but now have a little one to keep up with and this did not make me feel uncomfortable or exposed when chasing a baby on a cruise!

Very comfortable and cute!
I am a 36.5 (34D)-27-37 and 5'5". I generally wear a size 4 in most dresses. I wore a 6 in this and it fit perfectly. The top is relatively fitted but is a Lycra/cotton so it's soft and offers a fair amount of stretch (I didn't wear a bra). The bottom of the skirt is very "puffy" (my picture doesn't show this as much because of the way I'm standing against my friend). It has pretty deep pockets which I LOVED. I am currently on crutches and wanted something I could easily get around in all evening. This did not disappoint. It was as comfortable as pajamas and was very cute. I received several compliments. I gave it 4 stars because it is very cute and comfortable but if the wedding was any more formal this would not have worked as well.

contemporary and fun
I ordered both a 4 and a 6. I normally wear a 4 but I am a little busty. In this case the 4 fit but the 6 looked like it was made for me! I had so many compliments on how fun my dress was without being underdressed for the wedding. I wore it with blue suede peep toes (the first time)...also a huge hit! I loved it so much I wore it again with black strappies...still a huge hit!
