Form fitting, but a good amount of stretch.( it was my birthday and there was surprise trip to the bowling alley, i didnt have any issue with dress and trying to bowl) I wore the smaller of the two sizes i ordered.

I wore this for a wedding where the attire was more formal then not, or as the bride called it "extra." The dress fit perfectly and i found all the other reviews to be spot on. I ordered both a 2 and 4r not knowing how much give the dress would have. (I have larger hips and butt, so sometimes i have to sacrifice the waist fitting just so i can sit down.) I wore the 2r because the dress had enough give, which also made it super comfortable to wear. I also loved that i could wear a regular bar with it. It was pretty low cut, so if you arent comfortable with showing cleavage this might not be the dress for you.
