Date night winner
Wore this to a fancy dinner date with hubs. I felt amazing and got lots of compliments from hubby, the restaurant employees and my daughter in law who saw me at the end of the night and told my son that she wanted an excuse to get dressed up and look as good as I did lol. The only issue was the length. Petite sizing wasn't available, so I wore it with heels but it was still too long and I was concerned all night that I was going to step on the back of the pants and tear the delicate fabric.

Super polished, super cute…until you sit down
Wore this for a work conference and it really is a polished look immediately after ironing it and until you sit down. Once the “flat” front flap begins to wrinkle, it detracts a bit from how cute this really is. I thought that maybe the Florida humidity would help with keeping the wrinkles at bay but after the first session I was pretty much wrinkled for the day lol. I love the style of this romper on my body type but I could see it being too boxy on others. I highly honestly would consider rent it again for a day of mostly standing/walking lol or maybe a photo shoot. But not for an all day seated event due to the wrinkles -plus the waist/inner shorts (beneath the front flap) did get tighter across my belly and a tad uncomfortable when sitting after a few meals 🫣.

Late October wedding in the mountains
I ordered a 4 & 6 as backup. I have a blocky rib cage so I went with the 6 so that I could breathe (and eat!) comfortably. The cups on the 6 were roomier than I’d like. (Strategically placed boob tape made it less obvious, but then I had to keep adjusting my straps to make sure my taping secrets weren’t exposed.). I was worried the mesh would differ too much from my skin tone and look weird (I wanted the plunge look, not a random mesh triangle look) but thankfully it wasn’t as bad/noticeable as I worried it might be. It’s a really pretty dress, I do wish it were a bit shorter but it worked ok for the fall weather. (I’m 5’2 so this was almost full length on me even with platform heels.) I paired it with a cognac leather moto jacket which gave it a fun, edgy feel and kept me warm when the sun went down and the weather turned a bit cooler.
