Top was incredibly small!
No way I could wear this dress. Sadly, the top didn’t even come close to clasping. Strange, since I had another dress from the same designer in the same size in this shipment and that fit great!

Heavy and awkward
Skirt was a heavy material and kept falling down every time I walked. Awkward fit because if it sat below my natural waist it was almost floor length. I'm typically a size 4 so was shocked that a small was so big.

Strange fit
Slate & Willow brand mediums generally fit me, yet this wrap dress couldn't even come close to covering my chest, a 34C. Arms were very tight (mine are muscular), yet if I'd gone up to a large the shoulders would have fallen oddly. A disappointment.

Comfortable and surprising.
This was a replacement dress. It looked better than I expected :) The sheer parts are actually over a nude silk layer, so no skin is exposed. You can't tell unless you're the one wearing the dress, so there is definitely a security factor there. Comfortable and versatile.

Beautiful summer wedding maxi!
Gorgeous colors and a very flattering silhouette. As others mentioned, however, it was rather snug in the armpits. It fit perfectly everywhere else, so I imagine going up a size would have just led to a dress that was too loose in other places. I have a rathe small bust, and was able to go sans bra as the dress was thick enough and fitted enough across the chest to get away with it. Overall, a great rental and the lost star is due entirely to the snug armpits.

Gorgeous pattern and cut!
This dress fit like a glove! The size 4 was a bit snug at the waist (not usually an issue for me) but fit perfectly everywhere else. My backup size 6 felt better in the waist, but was still a little snug and the top was gaping open under my arms. Went with the 4 and it was the right decision. Would not work out well for someone with a small top and moderate to large waist.

Bodice is snug but comfortable. If you are muscular and small chested like me, don't assume you can get away with a small size due to a small bust! Perfect length for 3 inch heels. I'm 5'5" and it just swept the ground.
