Stand Out Dress
I rented this for a black tie gala in Washington, DC. I usually wear a 2R but it wasn’t available so I wore a 4R, which fit great. I even tried on the 2L but it was waaayyyy too long. The material is like that thick scuba material so it does not provide any support. The fabric is also not forgiving whatsoever, so every bump can be seen. Oh well. I received tons of compliments on it the same. I’m 5’1”, 117 lbs, 34B and wore huge 5 inch heels and a strapless bra. Overall a beautiful dress that turned heads.

Show-Stopper!
This dress was actually one of my back-up dresses as the dress I initially rented became unavailable with two days before my event. I worked with a stylist over the phone to pull together some looks that was similar to my original rental. When she suggested this one, I was worried the one shoulder ball gown silhouette would overwhelm me as I am 5'1". To add, the only sizes that were available were a 0R and 2L. I usually wear a 2R. She sent me both and I ended up wearing the 2L. The 0R was zip-able, but hurt my ribs so I went with the 2L, which as you can tell from the photo was super long...even after wearing 5 inch chunky heels. Not a problem though as I received compliments from every single person I came across at the National Italian American Foundation's anniversary black-tie gala in Washington, D.C. I did not wear a bra with it--didn't really have to. AND it has pockets. This dress is more stunning in person and I highly recommend renting it for a formal affair. Shout out to the stylist who helped me...unfortunately I forgot her name but thank you so much!!!

Head turner!
I wore this dress for the black tie Washington Chorus Ball in Washington, D.C. This dress was not only the perfect shade of pink but flowed so beautifully. I am 5'1" and pretty flat chested (34B on good days) so I did not wear any kind of bra or pasties or anything like that. I wore 5 inch heels and the dress fell at the perfect length. The dress is rather heavy and thick so although I was not wearing a bra, I felt supported. You can tie this dress in so many different ways but the RTR stylist showed me the classic "Grecian Twist" way which was perfect and effortless. I never wanted to take it off. Also the dress has A LOT of fabric, so if the evening just so happens to be windy, like mine wise, you'll end up taking great pics! Highly recommend for spring/summer affairs!

Beautiful classy number
This dress was not my original dress that I rented for my black-tie gala. I was at the store trying on my original dress that I had rented and when that didn't work out, one of the associates at the store pulled this dress out for me. It wasn't exactly my size...just a tad big in the bust, but it still worked. I received a lot of compliments on it. It's made out a beautiful, heavy, double-faced satin and also made right here in the USA.

Lovely but not for curves
I rented this dress for a black tie gala. Luckily, I live in Washington where there is a Rent the Runway store and was able to try on the dress in-store at pick up. While the dress is beautiful, it's not exactly a perfect fit for hourglass shaped women. The fabric does not have stretch to it. Suffice to say, I did not end up renting this dress. If you're tall and model-like, this dress is for you.

Princess Perfect!
I rented this dress for the National Italian American Foundation's 40th Anniversary Awards Gala in Washington, D.C. At first I was a little hesitant because on the website, it seems more pink than red. Don't let it fool you..this dress is true, ruby red and it's BEAUTIFUL in person! Everyone at the gala...men and women alike, stopped me to compliment me on the dress. I never wanted the night to end. Also, you don't have to wear a bra with this although I wore a nubra. I will say, it's a bit long. I wore 4-5 inch heels and I was stepping on it...so you will have to pick it up when walking up and down stairs, but other than that...it's perfect! I HIGHLY recommend renting this dress.

Oh So Pretty in Pink!
I rented this dress for the National Italian American Foundation's New York Gala at Cipriani 42nd Street on April 8. The event called for cocktail attire. I'm usually a "little black dress" kinda gal, so I decided to go way out of my comfort zone and rent this stunning dress....and it definitely paid off!! I was happy to see that the color was way more vibrant in person than it was show pictured on the model on the RTR site. I'm 5'1" so the back of the dress did touch the floor a bit. The bodice has built-in boning/bra so you really don't have to wear a strapless bra with it (although I did). I received compliments all night from men and women alike and I couldn't have been happier with my choice. I felt like a princess and I didn't want to take it off. I highly recommend this dress if you're looking for a show-stopping, glamorous dress.

Princess for a night!
I rented this dress for the Policemen's Ball in Palm Beach, Florida on Jan. 18. It was a black tie event at Donald Trump's exclusive Mar-a-Lago. The moment I put it on, I immediately felt like a princess. I cannot tell you how many compliments I received. It fit beautifully! I'm usually a size 0 but given the stiff nature of the fabric, I opted for the size 2 so that I was able to sit and move with ease. I wore a strapless bra with the dress, but you probably could have gotten away without it. I'm 5'1" and I wore about 4 1/2" stiletto heels and the length was just about perfect...a little long in the back so I had to hold it up when it came to dancing. I wanted the evening to last as long as possible because I did not want to take off the dress! A beautiful, classy and regal dress that I highly recommend.

An elegant and stunning statement dress guaranteed to turn ALL heads!
I wore this dress for a black tie gala at the Embassy of Italy in Washington, D.C. I am usually a size 0 for all Rent the Runway dresses, however, this dress was a bit snug since the material is stiff, it doesn't give. I had to be very careful when sitting down. I'm a petite girl but I didn't feel that the dress overwhelmed me at all. It was a bit long. I'm 5'1" and wore 4 inch stiletto heels. When you order, definitely get your size and a size up. I wore a normal strapless bra with it, but you really don't have to. Nonetheless, I received compliments all night from both men and women--it really makes a statement.

Va-Voom! Fit like a glove!
I wore this dress at my Foundation's black tie anniversary gala in Washington, D.C. It hugs you in all the right places. I'm petite and it never overwhelmed my figure. I wore about 4 1/2" heels and it was a tad bit long--but I love my dresses touching the floor, so I didn't mind. I have a curvier derrier and hips so the dress really accented my whole body. Even though it's a strapless dress, I never once had to "pull it up." Received compliments all night long. I definitely recommend it!
