The dress fit a bit snug but the color was what I couldn’t do. I didn’t realize it was so bright pink when I rented the two sizes for a media event that required me to wear a pink dress. I got home thinking I would grab the bag from the doorway and get my dress on and zip to the event, but I had to zip to the mall instead and purchase another dress from Dillards to wear that wasn’t so bright and clingy.

I wanted to wear this dress so badly, but it was so hard to squeeze into and impossible to do the inside bra zipper without assistance and even that was a process and struggle. I opted not to wear the dress because the size 4 (42) left no room to breath or bend and the size 6 (44) was incredibly tight as well, but bulged out on the sides at the hips. I thought for $175, I should look and feel a little more comfortable. I didn't want to end up ripping the dress by trying to sit down, so the wonderful ladies at Rent the Runway rushed me out a new dress the next day in time for my event. Thanks Ladies! I would suggest this dress for very petite sized women or tall and less than 128 pounds. : ) I wouldn't suggest it for women who have a large bust or have any extra weight in the middle section of the body.

The dress was great and looked amazing, which I was shocked that I liked it so much. Unfortunately, the dress was needing some repairs, and I wasn't able to wear it. Good thing it was just my back up dress, because the zipper was broken and the embellishments on the shoulder were missing several stones.

I wore the dress to a charity gala. The dress was a little tough to move my arms, but luckily I had my sweet husband to fetch everything that I was unable to reach. I felt a little confined, but I was happy that I didn't have to be concerned with showing too much. The guests included Senators and community leaders, as well as celebrities, so I didn't want to be worried about too much cleavage or a short skirt. This dress was elegant and perfect for my event. I would suggest it for a wedding or formal event for women who are not so comfortable exposing too much and women over 40.
