I am an athletic but curvy woman usually wear a size 8-10 and usually have problems with being an hourglass figure for things to fit. I wear a 36ff bra and that alone can make it really difficult so as a last minute scramble for a NYE dress I order this. I must say that it fit wwell in the waist, but my 5'7 frame was to short for this dress. I think it would look better on a taller person, the color was beautiful, and the material was great..however the top was too big even for me..witha strapless bra it still hung low on me...i did not end up wearing this dress because of the fit..I felt to conservative for the event in this and maybe even I had ordered the medium it would have been a better fit overall...so maybe size down on this one..:)

I rented these for my cousins wedding that I am in as Maid of Honor. We wore floor length, Silk Tafetta dresses in black and mine was a dramatic mermaide fit..I have short hair so I thought I needed an earring that would add drama, brighten my face, and not look cheap or tooo big. These are perfect..they shine alot, and they look well made...they look heavy, but they are not and they are classy but fun. The bride hasnt seen them yet I hope she like them with my gown but not like them enought to want to wear them instead of her own...:)

I rented this for a girls night out weekend...it was a beautiful dress...but since I am loosing weight I was between sizes and couldnt wear it..however now after fully being a size 8 I know that the next time the medium will be what to order ...it is sexy and classy and i wish I could have worn it but I am sure there will be a need for it on another date...
