I wore this dress to a cocktail-attire wedding that was outside in the early fall. It was perfect style for the season/event and the color was great. I added nude patent heels, a green necklace and a black shawl since it got colder at night. The dress fits true to size or maybe slightly on the large side. I am very tall with a straight build and long torso. I found that the hip seams hit a little high on me and also came out a bit at the sides. If you have a shorter torso/a little bit of hip, you probably wouldn't notice this issue. That said, it wasn't bad enough that I couldn't wear it, but I probably wouldn't rent it again on account of the fit at the hips.

I wore this dress to a September beach and it was perfect for the location and occasion. The fit is true to size and there is an included belt that helps cinch the waist in. I am very tall and this dress was still long enough, which was great. Very happy with this rental and would rent it again!

I wore this dress to a beach wedding in Mexico. It fit perfectly, although the zipper was a little hard to zip. Strangely, my backup size (6) felt smaller than the size 4 I ended up wearing. The skirt is a little shorter in front than I anticipated, but not unwearably so. Looks great with nude and gold accessories.

I wore this to a rehearsal dinner on the beach in Mexico. Normally I wear a small, but both XS and S sizes were not available. The M was a little loose, but the elastic waist kept it from seeming too big. I was very comfortable in the dress and would absolutely rent again.

The skirt was SO slim, I could not actually get the dress on properly. Had to return unworn.

I wore this dress to a black tie charity event. It is simple and understated. There wasn't a lot of shape to the dress, especially because I couldn't figure out how to get the bow right so I went without it. For being so tall, I was impressed that the 4L went to the floor. The biggest complaint I have is that there were FOUR other women at this party all wearing my dress in black or purple. Is there any way RTR can have you say what event you are wearing the dress to when you purchase it so that there is some way to track this? If I had known other women had already rented this dress for the same event, I would have picked another option...

A very sexy dress! I wear a size 4/S and the Medium in this dress fit me perfectly. Probably better for girls with larger chests as the neckline was a little loose on me (I'm an A/B). Also, because the skirt is so tight, it has a tendency to ride up if you are walking around too much. These two issues left me feeling a little exposed/uncomfortable. With all of this said, I received more compliments on this dress than on every outfit compliment I've received in the past year and would without a doubt rent it again.

I am thin with a small bust and normally wear a size 4 in dresses. The size 4 fit me perfectly up top, but was inappropriately short to wear as a dress, which is not apparent from the picture. In addition, the skirt fits very tight on the thighs (as opposed to the flare shown in the picture). Fortunately, the skirt is tight enough that I was able to throw a black pencil skirt on top of it and make it work. If you are tall, this dress is likely not going to work for you!

I am tall and thin with narrow hips and a small chest. This dress just did not fit me right at all. I tried both a Small and a Medium and neither dress worked. When I zipped it up (which took a LOT of effort), it make me look like a rail. Normally Herve Leger dresses accentuate my lack of curves, but this dress totally flattened me out. Something about this one just does not work for women without curves and long, narrow bodies.
