Pros: dress is very comfy, has some stretch, it’s great for a variable weather or seasonal transition (I wore in early November in NYC), appropriate for short folks Cons: it is entirely sheer and unlined (I added a black bralette as I was attending a family-friendly event), but the tiers on the bottom kept the lower half opaque. There’s no zipper or fasteners so getting it off and on demands some contortion skills. The banding on the skirt tiers may be tight on some hips and thighs.

This is a good midi-ish option for shorter ladies, but beware: it runs small. Anyone with hips or a butt (SO MOST WOMEN) will likely need to size up. I'm usually reliably a 0 but ended up wearing the 2. It fit well enough in the lower half but was slightly large in the bust/arms eye area. The fabric does not stretch. Shape wear recommended (I didn't have any and regretted it).

Nope, this would not have been an appropriate choice for a quiet, intimate family wedding! This dress is all about the sexy, and there's no hiding it. I loved that the material was thick and had a ton of stretch. Wish it had a zipper--pullover styling can just be awkward, especially with a more form fitting style. Short girls: the sleeves are looong.

This would have been the perfect look for an afternoon winter wedding if my shipment hadn't been delayed by weather! What can you do. I will definitely rent this dress again. While the dress itself is fairly conservative, the detailing is sophisticated and keeps it from feeling too demure. I particularly love that there is some mesh sewn into the shoulders to give them more body. Be warned: while this is a great look for fall/winter, this dress is NOT LINED. Tights and maybe a slip may be necessary if you don't want to freeze.

This was a replacement that I didn't end up wearing because it would have been too formal for an intimate afternoon wedding, which was a little heartbreaking because it fit so well! Though the dress seems to be designed to hit at the ankle or slightly above for an average height woman, it worked well for me as a floor length gown. I loved the fit, it seemed proportional to my body (rare!), and it was very comfortable. It does seem to run small. I'm typically a 0, and the size 2 fit like a glove.

Yes, this dress definitely runs small. Narrow shouldered/small busted ladies will find it difficult to size up--at least, I did. The neckline of the S was gaping on me and kept falling down, so I was forced to go with the XS. Thankfully, there is a bit of stretch in the fabric, so it wasn't movement prohibitive. The hardest part was getting the dress on. After that, I was mostly comfortable. And it's a BEAUTIFUL dress. A striking LBD that looked awesome and made me feel like a million bucks. I may rent again, despite the challenges!!

Loved the cut and fit of this dress. I was looking for something with clean lines that would accentuate curves, and this dress did that beautifully. Loved the one-shouldered ruffle. Just a touch of whimsy. It is definitely fitted, but I found that the 0 fit TTS. Despite the close fit, the fabric was thick enough that I could wear regular undies and not worry about panty lines. A note for short ladies--the slit in back seems to be placed in such a way that it is not helpful for anyone under, say, 5'4". The top of the slit fell below my knees, so it didn't provide the flexibility for range of motion that it's supposed to. Be warned that going up stairs or stepping into a car are a real challenge in this dress if the slit has been rendered useless.

Loved wearing this dress. The fabric is somewhat more lightweight than I imagined based on the photos, but it didn't feel cheaply made. Worked perfectly for a warm May evening. The sexy slit offsets the fact that the dress is a little longer than I usually wear as a petite girl. Because I didn't entirely fill out the bust, there was some extra fabric, but I didn't feel it was enough to make the dress look ill-fitting. The arm holes were also a bit large on me, but it was barely noticeable. I wish I didn't have to send this dress back. It's classy and sexy, and I'll probably rent it again at some point!

First off, the construction of this dress is beautiful. Because of the embroidery the dress has a sheen in pictures that makes the fabric look a little flimsy, but nothing could be further from the truth. It's high quality fabric that has some weight to it, which was needed for the November wedding I wore it to. But petite ladies take note: this dress runs large in the torso. For me, the shoulders/armseye/bust were perhaps a size too large. I had to jerry rig the shoulder straps with some tape and ingenuity, so it looked a bit wonky, but it did the job. That said, I loved wearing the dress, and it was definitely the style I was hoping for! I'd hazard a guess that this is probably a great choice for curvy ladies, as it definitely doesn't lend itself to anyone with a short torso or low cup size.

I love this necklace. I have rented it before, but I liked it even better this time around! Last time I found that it tended to come apart between the spikes. I did not have the same issues this time--possibly because I wore it to an awards ceremony, not a wedding reception. This may not be the best choice for dancing or events where you'll be doing a fair amount of moving around. However, it is an awesome statement piece with a slightly edgy look. I really felt like it tied my whole outfit together.
