mother of the bride-esque
I did not end up wearing this dress. I ordered for a holiday party, but didn't love it. It hangs in a way that reminds me very much of a mother of the bride look which isn't what I was going for. It's not super flattering. It is a pretty dress in the right circumstance, but was not for me. My 70 year old mom would have loved it!

Not very flattering
This dress has a much tighter mermaid style than I expected from the pictures. Thus, it is not at all flattering if you have a belly. I did not wear it because it looked awful on me. The fabric and color are really nice though, and if you have a flat stomach you could definitely pull it off! Just not the right fit for me.

Flattering and comfortable
This dress fit really well, and was flattering in all the right places. The fabric is thick but not hot. I wore it to a holiday party and it was just the right vibe. I would definitely rent again!

This was a fun dress!
The sparkle is awesome, I got compliments on the color all night! It fit comfortably, in my usual size. I did not think it was overly flattering - the arms are kind of odd and I felt like it make my frame look bigger. But it was fun and interesting, and good for a event where you are moving around a lot!

Cute but slightly uncomfortable fit
This dress looks beautiful, the color and pattern are unique and bright, but not in your face. The dress unfortunately wasn't a good fit for my body type. I wore it anyway, and I think it looked cute, but it was uncomfortable. The sleeves were restricting, and I could not raise my hands up fully. The dress does a great job minimizing the belly, but the thigh area was very tight. It was difficult to walk because the area around the thighs was restricted. If you have a booty, or thicker thighs, you might want to look elsewhere. But, it was very cute! Perhaps if I'd sized up, it would have been better, but I think a bigger size would have been too loose in the chest and belly. Perfect dress for skinny legs, if you've got em!

This is a very comfortable and flattering dress.
I loved the color, the sequins pop, but without being too obnoxious. This dress is great for those of us with a little tummy - the mid section is very flattering. The length was perfect, hit about mid thigh (I'm short). The only downfalls to this dress were that, as some other reviewers have noted, the zipper was really difficult! And, not because it was too tight, but just because it was stuck. Also, the chest area was tricky. There was too much room for me to fill, and I had to safety pin it together to prevent showing my bra. Those with a smaller chest might feel too roomy. Those with a larger chest might spill out a bit. If this is a problem area for you, I would avoid this dress. Overall super comfortable and cute. I ended up wearing the smaller size of the two.

Such a fun dress!
This dress was so perfect. It was my first RTR and I was nervous! I wore it to a wedding and got so many compliments! As others have noted, the arms are snug. I am usually bothered by this, but it wasn't terrible. Had I been needing to lift my arms up continuously it would have been a problem, but for normal dining and dancing it didn't get in the way. The chest and tummy area are very flattering. I am short and thought this was flattering for my legs. I did wear the bigger size - ordered and 8 and 10, and needed the 10 mostly due to the arm area.
