Wore this skirt to the AM church services for by BIL's NYC black tie wedding. Paired the skirt with a white button down shirt with a tall collar, antique pearls and nude heels. It was perfect! Heels were about 4.5" high and the skirt still grazed the floor (it's quite long). I am very curvy and the LR was a great fit. I will say, however, I did wear a spanx underpinning and that helped smooth the line at the waist. The set-on waist band is very fitted. When I tried the skirt without the underpinning, deep breaths were being taken where the waist was concerned. The overall fit was very comfortable besides that. It draped beautifully and was not very heavy (considering all the sequins). It is a true gold skirt (not brassy). Was not able to snap a pic (sorry about that), prior to leaving for the ceremony. I did receive many, many compliments on the look.

Dress was definitely true-to-fit. I ordered the 10R and 12R. The 10R fit with the exception of the bust. I am very, very busty. So, I went with the 12R and voila... perfection! I (and my husband) received many compliments throughout the night. This was my second RTR look for this event. It was a very comfortable dress as there is a nude underlay that gives it some stretch. The arms were also quite comfortable and tested during the dancing portion of the reception. : ) The attached picture really does not do it justice (sorry about that), it was actually quite flattering and I was very pleased. This was my first RTR experience and I am looking forward to my next event. I also wore heels with about a 3.5" heel and it was perfect given the hem length of the dress. I hope all Marchesa dresses are this comfortable. The cut was very well done for a curvy woman with a bustline.
