Beautiful dress but...
This dress is beautiful but the fit is awkward. The bodice was too big for me and I had to secure it under the arms. The skirt hangs longer in the front than in the back and that may be because of my behind but I decided not because the 12 dipped lower in the front as well. I wouldn't recommend this dress simply because of the side view. Imagine standing and from the side, your dress is jacked up high behind and draping to your knees in the front.

I felt sexy and glamorous in this gown as I won 3rd place in a fashion show during the event.
This gown does run true to size and was a little snug around my hips since I've gained some weight (166lbs. to 173lbs.) but not uncomfortable. The bodice was perfect and I did not require or need a strapless bra. The length was perfect for me as they glazed over the 4" gold metallic shoes I wore.

Not true to size
My sister rented this dress in a size 16 but I ended up wearing it because it did not fit her at all. I wear a size 12 and I wore it to a 1920's party. I felt very comfortable in it and I received many compliments that night.
