A LOT of ruffle.
There's a lot more going on with this top than in the pictures. The ruffled collar was just too much for me and seemed to always be moving or folding over weird. Didn't wear it.

Top is way too small and could not contain my chest. Looked weird with a camisole.
I'm large breasted and had hopes this could cover me. Once zipped my chest was falling out. Overall, it's a lot of fabric and fuss - a little too on the cutesy side for me.

Not completely flattering.
From the front this looked nice. The legs are very full so it looks like a skirt which was the look I was going for. From the back and side, it was not flattering. The pleats and full was made my butt look huge.

Compliments but don't love
I got a lot of compliments on this dress. Overall, it's made very well. I love that the hem is thick and the skirt doesn't blow up easily. The only think I don't like is the business around the waist. The black stretchy part in the front would be better if not stretchy. I'm not sure why it's duplicated in the back. It looks odd as the tie is heavy enough that it drops a little lower. It was great for a one time wear and I'll look for more from this designer.

Cute but ...
It's hard to see this detail from photos but the front tie is bulky and a little odd. The tie edging is just edged by a serger. Not a very clean look. There's some gathering sewn into the front where the top meets the skirt that lays just above behind the tie that I think looks odd as well. Overall not for me.

Great dress. Got a lot of compliments.
Very hard to zip up on your own. As I was heading out, putting my seatbelt on in the car I realized the under arms of the dress, particularly the right side smelled of BO. It was strong enough that I was self conscious and didn't want to raise my arms.

Great Dress
I got this for an awards show. I needed something edgy and this was more conservative than the other dress I chose. I did end up wearing it to dinner and got a lot of compliments. It is very comfortable to wear.

Too Goth
I rent this for an awards show but didn't end up wearing it. It was just way too goth and I felt it would be too hot for LA. The cut out on the sleeves also made it hard to get on and they fit kind of weird. Tight in some places and loose in others.

Super Comfortable and Fun.
I wore this to an awards show in LA. I thought the fabric would be hot but it was quite comfortable in temp and fit. It was a fun print and worked great for the event. Not something I would normally wear (another plus for Rent the Runway.). I was not familiar with this designer but I will definitely look for it in the future.

I expected the pearls to be larger; they are really small. it is daintier than I expected. That said, I got SOOOO many compliments on this bracelet but I didn't love it like I thought I would.

LOVED this necklace. It is a statement necklace but not heavy and quite comfortable to wear. I would say the color has a bit more of a black undertone than gold though - which was perfect with my dress.
