nice but not fancy
the fabric weight is great. It fits nicely (has pockets!!) I often wear this to church and similar level of formality events. It's not really fancy enough in my opinion for a cocktail party but can wear it to work events too.

LOVE this dress
This is possible one of my all time favorite dresses. The fit is lovely (waist has no give just FYI), the length is long enough though i think it (and most things) look better with stockings. It's really well made. Can be dressed up or "down" I've worn it to church, to weddings, to work parties, etc.

WAAAY too short
it's so cute, the neckline is lovely. it "fits" except the critical detail that if you are over 5'4" you will almost certainly end up flashing someone. the under-lining dress on the skirt is just far too short.

shoulder sit weird and have no give
This is a stunning dress if you are in a recieving line like the queen and never have to pick anything up or be able to move your shoulders or lift your arms freely. I would wear it more if it didn't have these practical problems. As a result I tend to wear it to church, funerals, standing cocktail parties and other things where you don't need to move your arms a lot particularly up (like literally eating dinner in this would be a pain in the a**). But it's stunning and I get lots of complements. the fabric is great. I don't have heavy arms but I don't have noodle arms either because I exercise and if you have super thing shoulders you might not experience the problems I have with it.

pretty flexible sizing
I have a more narrow waist (~6) but wider frame (hips (8-10) and shoulders ~8) in addition to being taller. The fit was nice overall. The only compromise for me was that the shoulders could have sit a little better on me. However considering I often size up to a 10 for jackets, etc. for that reason I would say it was forgiving for a size 6 and fit well overall.
