Loved this dress!
I'm 5'7, and I opted for the 4L to really get the long, flowy effect- it turned out to be the perfect length for photos, though it was a little difficult to walk in. I really had to gather up handfuls to make sure I wasn't stepping on it. This dress was so perfect for a beach wedding - it was light and comfortable and felt so incredibly elegant. I would definitely rent again!

Milly always runs small for me, so I rented a size up for my backup and it was still a little too small and way too short for the conservative event I rented it for. The material felt kind of plasticy and I don't think it really would have looked 'nice' enough anyway. Probably better for a more casual night out...

So many compliments!
The medium wasn't available so I only had the large. I'm a size 6 and pretty pear shaped- the bottom half fit perfect but the top was loose. I think I could have worn the medium and been fine. It stayed up anyway, and just looked absolutely fantastic. I've never worn an Herve Leger before, but it's definitely a favorite now.

So comfortable and cute!
Absolutely loved this dress. The material was just thick enough to give it structure and make it flattering, without being too heavy or stiff. I wore it for my birthday cookout and it held up beautifully all night. My only teensy complaint was that, since I'm 5'7, the hemline was a little on the short side, but not terribly so. I just wouldn't rent it for a work event.

Looked fabulous, but needed help going to the bathroom...
Overall, the dress looks absolutely amazing. I did have some issues with it though. The material is super thick - it feels almost like neoprene or something - and it doesn't have a lot of give. I will say I didn't have any sweating issues though, so it's not a ridiculously hot material. There's also no slit in the back of the skirt, so my stride was restricted and I couldn't wiggle the dress up far enough to go to the bathroom. Even in the larger size. My poor husband had to follow me to the restroom all night and partially unzip me so I could go pee. I definitely wouldn't recommend this dress for other girls with pronounced pear shapes... It looks great if you're just standing around and being admired, but I don't think it's a super practical dress for walking/sitting/dancing, etc.

Perfect rehearsal dinner dress
Loved this dress! I ended up wearing the smaller size, because my normal size was a little loose under the arms and around the collar. It's not my normal style, but it was lightweight, comfortable and I got a ton of compliments on it.

A little see-through, but SO comfortable and gorgeous!
I rented this for my rehearsal dinner (mostly-casual crab feast) and it was absolutely stunning. I got tons of compliments and it was incredibly comfortable - not heavy at all. I normally wear a size 6, and the 40L fit perfectly, but I ended up wearing the 42L because it was a little longer. My only problem with it is that the top layer is an open knit (crochet?), and the bottom layer (which goes to about mid-thigh) is a very sheer light blue, so it was pretty see-through in the important areas. I wore a pair of spanx under it and was okay, but be aware that everything shows...

Gorgeous dress, but the fit didn't work
The color/overlay on this dress is gorgeous, but for some reason, it bagged really funny under my arms in both the size 4 and the 6. I tried adjusting the back strap and using double-sided tape, but nothing worked. You can see the weird lump in the picture I posted. It's definitely on the longer side, too - I'm 5'7 and curvy, and it hit just above the knee on me. I think it would have been super comfortable, but I ended up not wearing it because of the underarm lumps. Oh well!

Cute, but never again
The clutch is cute, but as previous renters have noted, the sparkles catch on everything and make the clutch really uncomfortable to hold for long periods of time. The clutch is a decent size, but the inside is deceptive - it looks like it should hold plenty, but the rigidity of the shell means you can only fit a few pretty flat items in there.

I've got big hips, so the bottom of this dress was a little snug, and the sequins on the back were a tiny bit uncomfortable for sliding along church pews, but overall, I loved it and got tons of compliments on the dress.

Loved this dress! It does run a little on the big side (Im normally between a 4 and 6, and wore the 4 very comfortably), but it's pretty short if you're on the taller side. I paired it with a white blazer, tights and ankle boots and it was great for a night out, but I definitely wouldnt have worn it in front of my boss at a holiday party!

The look on my fiance's face when he admitted that yeah, maybe I should try to buy this one...
I started looking to rent a NYE dress late, so pretty much everything I wanted was already gone in my size. This dress was probably my 7th or 8th choice - and they didnt even have my backup size (the 4 or the 8) - so I was a little nervous about the whole thing. This dress turned out to be my favorite RTR rental yet! I have J. Lo hips, so putting it on required some shimmying, but I felt so unbelievably sexy in this dress. If you're on the shorter side, I could see how the style might feel a little more formal, but at 5'7, the dress was just short enough to attract some serious attention, while still being classy. The leather trim is a fabulous detail, and I really really regretted having to mail this one back!

I really loved the look of this dress - the ruching is very flattering and it has an asymetrical neckline, which you almost cant even tell from the picture. My only problem with it is there's an attached liner underneath that is kind of a hassle to keep straight/smooth back down, and it did have a bit of a tendency to ride up when I walked, so the open side ended up looking quite risque at times. Definitely get the long if you're on the fence about length - this dress looks amazing with high heels!

This dress is flattering, but if you've got hips/curves, it's going to be short! I rented this dress for a black and white themed party, so I was a little disappointed that the top is more of a cream/off-white color than it looks in the picture. Other than that, I got a ton of compliments on the dress, and the material has enough stretch/give to it to be really comfortable.

Absolutely loved this dress - the material was a little bit slinkier than I was expecting, but it was still incredibly flattering. I wore it to a law firm dinner party paired with my red Gucci pumps and it was sexy, comfortable, attention-getting and appropriate, all at the same time.
