Beautiful fabric with slight shimmer
This dress was gorgeous for a winter wedding. The black you see in the fabric is raised and slightly shimmery in person--the fabric is thick and feels very rich. The material is somewhat stretchy and the dress runs a bit large. I could have probably gone with a 2. The skirt is very full, so size to fit your upper body/ribcage. I am 5'4"-5'5" and this dress was the perfect length...long enough for a family wedding but not too long to be matronly.

Comfortable and fun
Pockets are great for stashing phone and lip gloss. Very full skirt, top has some stretch to it. Definitely size to fit your upper body and go with size down for backup.

Beautiful, classy evening gown
I wore this dress to an awards banquet and felt so great and elegant in it! I'm a little on the hippy side so I liked the room the size 6 provided. I ordered a 4 as my back-up size and while that size fit me a little better up top, the smaller size was just a little too curve-hugging in my hips and butt. I did have to pin the straps in the size 6, but otherwise this dress was perfect. The fabric is very stretchy and comfortable. I wore modest heels (3 inches) and felt the length of the dress was just right--skimmed the floor. Highly recommend this one!

Super comfortable, beautiful dress
The fit of this dress is super stretchy and comfortable! I am usually a 4 or 6 and went with the M for my bigger hips. The back of the dress is so pretty and flattering, but I was able to wear a normal strapless bra. This dress was beautiful and perfect for a summer wedding! If you are self-conscious about fabric stretched tight across your tummy, I would size up for a little extra give. The dress is stretchy enough that I think the next size up would still look good.

Such an adorable dress--sad I did not get to wear it!
I rented this as my second option and only requested a 6. I wore a 6 in another Milly dress (Toffee Ripple), which is my usual dress size. However, the size 6 of this dress was too loose in the bodice. I didn't get to wear it due to the size, but it was very cute!

The fabric on this dress was very thick and stretchy-- almost like yoga pant material
Needless to say, I sent this one back. Not what I was expecting from such an expensive dress.

I had a failed attempt with RTR several weeks ago, but the customer service was awesome. I was very anxious that this dress wouldn't fit either, but this one was just perfect. I will definitely be renting another beautiful dress from RTR in the future!
I wore this dress for a friend's New Year's Eve wedding and could not have loved it anymore! I was nervous about the fit after seeing in reviews that the top ran large (I'm a 4/6 on top and 8 on bottom). However, the skirt fit perfectly and I was able to rig the top to fit (wore two strapless bras and used some fashion tape). There is boning in the top that feels supportive but it's not too confining.
