My absolute favorite dress
I could not have been happier with this dress! It was the perfect color - true to the photo - and extremely flattering. I'm between a 4-6 in this photo and the SL fit perfect. Very comfortable for a summer wedding. The fabric is between thick and thin, it is forgiving but you could see the panty line from the cheaper shape wear I was wearing when I stood a certain way, easily fixable with better shape wear! I'm between 5'5 and 5'6 and wore taller heels so shorter girls definitely go shorter!

The dress was a hit with everyone else, but wasn't my favorite from RTR. I was hoping it would be closer to the blue in the picture – in some girl's photos, it was – but not in my opinion. Definitely more purple (my photo makes it look even more purple than it is, but it was still not the same color). That being said, it was SUPER comfortable to wear, but has several layers and the material is thicker so it worked great for the 60-65 degree weather I was in, but as soon as I started dancing, it got too hot. It does cover any stomach flaws while not being super baggy-looking, so that's a plus, but for women with a larger bust and smaller other areas, you may have to size up. I range from a 0-2, even a 4 on a rare occasion, so I'd rented the XS and S based on other reviews and I preferred the fit of the XS everywhere else but the bust – it didn't appear tight across the chest at all, but the fit along the back and under my armpit created a problem so I had to size up. I'm about 5'6 but have long legs for my height, and I felt the small was more appropriate – the XS length would have worked had I not been wearing 5+ inch wedges. I would also mention that while it looks flattering standing still, if you plan on dancing and having photos taken at the same time (such as a wedding), the material moves around a lot and could create some unflattering photos! But truth be told, it was a nice dress and can be dressed up or down, and if you look good in a purply-blue, the color would be perfect!

Looked gorgeous on the model, not so much in person!
I was expecting a bit more class from this dress when I rented it for a semi-formal outdoor evening summer party... not so much. It looks great on the model but it was pretty much see-through when I put it on. I was a smaller 2 at the time I ordered and it fit me like a glove – a very inappropriate glove. The ruching from the side to front is a bit more obvious in person and you'd really need a specific body type to pull it off I think. If you have a slip to wear under this and are more of a straight and narrow girl, you could definitely rock it, but for anyone with a bigger bust or hips, you'd need to a) size up and b) be attending an event were you can be a bit risque. That being said, it could be something really sassy for a night out in Vegas or something!

Did not wear the dress but it was cute.
I didn't end up wearing this dress for a summer outdoor party because it was a little too fitted for the semi-formal setting and I'd thought the slash across the chest was white and not silver. At the time I rented the dress, I was a solid 2 with a full chest and small waist but the dress had a bigger problem fitting in my stomach than my chest... I'd recommend sizing up unless you reaaaallly like tight-fitting clothes. The coral is a very pretty color, but the silver gives it a space-suit feel.

Got so many compliments and stood out from the crowd!
While this is an absolutely gorgeous and comfortable dress and I loved wearing it, it runs very large. I'm usually between a 2 and a 4, leaning more towards the 4 during the holiday season, but I put on the 0 with ease. I've got a full chest and it fit fine there but was very big in the middle – it didn't necessarily look baggy, but if you're going for a fitted look, this might not be the dress. If you have a small, defined waist, you could likely belt it though – I tried but I'm a bit more boxy and it looked funny, plus there was excess fabric. Regardless, my boyfriend was a HUGE fan and I got over the size quickly once we got to the NYE party and everyone complimented me. It's certainly unique and stands out from the rest! I'm about 5'6 and wore it with tights and 5 inch heels and felt the length was perfect, but if you're 5'8 or taller, it might be quite short. The creamy brown sheath underneath stands out a bit, so I'd recommend complimenting your jewelry with that because the pattern is busy. I wore a black and diamond necklace but I would have preferred something in the sheath color!

This was an absolutely stunning dress. Not only did it flatter my figure, but it was just loose enough in the waist for me to enjoy an amazing dinner without feeling uncomfortable. I'm planning to rent it again!

This dress was GORGEOUS!
I'm regularly between a 0-2 in these dresses, except my chest is much bigger, but it fit surprisingly well and was really forgiving. I thought it would look too tight, but it didn't at all - was very figure-flattering even though I wasn't in perfect shape. Loved it!
