Worn for a pageant as a crowning gown.
This was my backup dress and I ended up liking it far more than anticipated. I usually am not a fan of strapless dresses, but this one is really lovely. The color is gorgeous and the stretch is very forgiving. The Long length was perfect for me with 2.5" heels. Having said that, I would have sized up to a 12L. The ruching along the tummy is very flattering if worn correctly, but mine was pulled tight and didn't look as good as it could have. Better underthings could prevent this as well. Overall, a beautiful sparkly gown.

Worn at a pageant for a gown presentation.
I wanted to love this dress more than I did. In theory, it was perfect (black, sequin, stretchy, provided coverage) but it was not as flattering as I had hoped. I have a fairly large chest (36DD) and the drapey neckline turned into a smushed bustline. It fit quite tightly and was extremely short, even for a Long length. I would have liked to wear my backup size (of 12R) but it was far shorter, even with small heels. Overall, it was pretty onstage under the lights, however not the best fit for someone as curvy as myself with the sizes I chose.

Stylist Surprise for my wedding.
Added the "Stylist Surprise" for my wedding look and I'm glad I did. The bracelet is gorgeous and complemented my dress perfectly. It has a very art-deco look to it and looked great with my own bracelets I stacked with it. Was a little thrown off that it is stretchy, but it is so much nicer than typical stretchy bracelets. Really lovely!

Veil worn for my wedding.
Tried making my own birdcage veil and was unhappy with results, so I was glad that RTR had options I could pair with the dress I was renting. I have short hair, but the combs held in tight after lots of backcombing. It's hard to tell from the RTR photos, but there are actually two separate combs on each end of the veil. I'm assuming the point is to wear one comb on each side of your head, but I would have preferred to have just one comb to wear off to the side like a fascinator. I made it work by placing each comb side by side.

I wore this dress for my wedding and I felt gorgeous!
A little heavy, yes, but extremely comfortable. A big plus for me was the fact I got to wear a regular bra with it. The only issue I had was the length... I am a little under 5'8" and given other reviews, I assumed that ordering the regular length would be fine for me, as I was planning to wear flats. However, the size that best fit me (8) barely skimmed my ankles. I ended up wearing the second size (10) even though it was a bit too big, because it added significant length. Lesson learned: you can always temporarily hem tape it or wear higher heels if the dress is too long, but you cannot add length to it. When in doubt, go for the longer length option!
