Different than the photo
This dress is fun, but good to know that it is floor length, not "midi" as shown in the photo. So it is essentially a long red column of silk. Not bad, but not the look I was going for. I can see why it is a great dress for pregnant ladies, but was too mumu-like in full length for me. Fortunately, it was my back up dress so this was not an issue.

Elegant yet stylish. Pockets.
This was a perfect choice for a black tie fundraiser where I was the Board chair -- beautiful, simple, with the surprise of the open back. The 6R was great. The 8R would have given me a bit more breathing room but was too big in the bust for my 34B top. I wore 2.5" heels that allowed the dress to graze the floor. The jeweled beading at the waistline is lovely. I did not have the side zipper problem that others have referenced. All in all, a great rental.

A versatile, easy, elegant dress.
The fit is smooth and lovely. Wore this with cute linen sneakers to sight see in NY one day; wore it another night with slingbacks and some good jewelry and it became a great out to dinner dress. The bell sleeves are not too overwhelming and give a simple dress some pizzaz. And did I say the stretch makes it comfy? A win/win.

Better for younger women
This material felt way too polyester for me so it made the whole dress feel a bit cheap/ juvenile. And it's possible I might have been better in a small so it didn't feel so tent-y. On the plus side, so comfy you feel like you're wearing a nightgown. On the minus side, it may also LOOK like you're wearing a nightgown.

Good spring coat for travel
I am never a Large in anything but wish I had chosen large for this. It felt snug across the back and sleeves, even if I was wearing a sleeveless dress underneath. Pockets were a plus. Overall, more fun than a trench coat for a cool spring day in NYC. Just order carefully.

This dress is Da bomb
This is a fitted dress with unexpected detail on the back and panels starting at the knee that sashay when you walk. It is so simple, so well done, and pretty comfy. Strapless bra and shapewear are needed to keep the column look going (not yet wearing shapewear in this photo). I was at a fundraiser of 250 people and stopped by total strangers (including men) every 5 minutes. It's a wonderful dress for a older woman who wants to feel contemporary but appropriate. Nude/dusty rose slingbacks, a clutch and you're good to go. Has some stretch so you can still sit, eat and enjoy yourself.

Lovely, chic and COMFY!
Hard to believe a dress this pretty can be so easy to be in. Color is stunning. Like other reviews, do know dress is long -- wearing a 6 Regular I still had to pick up the dress to go upstairs, but otherwise it grazed the floor. I am 5'7" and wore 3" heels. RTR help encouraged me to order long at 5'7" but I am really really glad I didn't. Another plus for me was no need to wear a strapless bra if you are B or smaller -- the ruching eliminates any need. Really good experience overall.

Not for everyone
This dress underwhelmed me and it wasn't as well made as I had hoped. I don't consider myself to be a "hippy" person (which is why I thought the dress would work), but as you can see from the photo it pulled in all the wrong places. :( I am really glad I ordered an extra size up (44)...I would not have been able to wear the 42 (aka 6, my usual size). One thing I've learned from this is try on the dress THE MINUTE it arrives. I waited until I was getting dressed for the event, and by then it was too late to find something else. Net: while this looks like a dress that should compliment many age groups, my take is that it is a younger woman's dress.
