The dress is made of a very thick, super stretchy fabric, making it wayyy more body conscious than it looked in the photos. The top part of the dress (above the chevron) is actually a mesh so that shin shows through, and the bottom has a nude overlay so that you're not exposed. I am 5'9" and the dress was weirdly long on me (it came to right above my knee). I ended up having to wear something out of my closet, which was sad.

Got so many compliments on this dress!! It was perfectly sparkly without being overwhelming. One negative is that it was a bit tight through the hips, which meant that I had to wear my larger, backup size even though the rest of the dress fit better in the smaller size.

I wore this for my Office's Christmas party. It was perfect because I could wear the dress during the day with a blazer and then shed the blazer at night. With the blazer, it was perfect for my very conservative office, and without, it was perfect for the party! The dress ran a little large as I generally wear a size 6, but I wore the backup size 8. One thing to note, the band in the middle is really just a grey part of the skirt. It does not cinch in like a belt (which was what I thought when ordering the dress). But it was still overall very flattering.

I wore this to a bridal tea and got a ton of compliments! It was bright and fun. The top is silk and the bottom is a heavy cotton, which makes for a very flattering fit. Perfect dress. Would have purchased it if I could!
