Perfect dress for professional event (and concealed my brand new baby bump!)
I'm a lawyer, and when I found out I was a finalist for a prestigious industry award, I had absolutely no idea what to wear to the formal awards dinner. While dressing for professional events would not normally be a problem, I was newly pregnant with a bump that was small but definitely visible (especially in my closet full of cinched-waist dresses), and I had not yet told my boss or other higher-ups who would also be attending the event to support me. This dress was classy and comfortable, though it definitely needed a statement necklace for this event. The one thing to note is that the slit in the front goes up quite a bit so you may want to pin it or wear tights if you're at a conservative event -- only really an issue if you're sitting down.

Beautiful dress -- felt great and looked chic for a fall wedding!
I love, love, love this dress -- you put it on and feel confident. The fabric looks and feels high quality, and the dress is well-made. The neckline is definitely 'plunging' although the lace and sheer dark overlay do a good job of making the overall impression that is tasteful. I have broader shoulders and no cleavage to speak of, but I think that it would still look nice on someone with a larger chest. I've got arm muscles and broader shoulders, and unlike many dresses, the sheer fabric around the arms/armpits didn't chafe or bother me. The length was longer than pictured, and balanced out the top perfectly. The dress was structured but still allowed me to dance. I wore a stick on bra -- a traditional bra will not work with this dress. Love it!

Perfect for speaking @ brother's rehearsal dinner! Well made and looks classy.
I wanted to look and feel great for my little brother's rehearsal dinner, especially since (1) I'd be giving a speech and (2) I finally bounced back from having a baby -- this dress was perfect and did not disappoint! The lace overlay in particular is great -- it provides lots of coverage and you won't look or feel like a hussy, but you feel a little flirty since the skirt underneath is short :). Conservative grandmothers approved. The dress is well made, and the fabric (including the lace overlay) look and feel very high-quality. The peachy pink color is great. I love the neck/halter element and think it makes everything look put together. There is plenty of coverage on the side-boob area, but because of the cut of the top, you want to make sure to stand up straight in pictures to avoid the psuedo armpit-fat. On sizing: I ordered a 2 and 4 (I'm 5'7'' with a small waist and bust, with broad shoulders and athletic butt/thighs) -- the dress is structured and holds you in, but the 2 was actually too tight on my ribs (that doesn't usually happen to me!). The 4 fit like a glove and I was comfortable all night.

The fit was great. Because the dress is shorter, I was worried that the fit might be too tight, but the fit was great and the look was perfect for a friend's wedding without being too sexy. Would definitely rent it again!

Classy dress -- loved it.
I have a relatively small chest -- the top fit well and the dress had the perfect amount of coverage (you'll need sticky bra). It might look different on someone with a fuller chest. The skirt was long enough to balance out the sheer top, and I loved the color. Would definitely wear again.

I'm glad I read reviews from others with similar height/weight, because I changed my order to include a higher size and ended up wearing that. The dress is gorgeous, flattering, and comfortable. You will need stick-on bra.
