This dress was amazing. It fit perfectly and was just the right amount of classy and sexy. I tend to be a small, but only the extra small was available on the dates I needed, so I went for it. I could not have asked for a better fit. If I had to critique the dress at all, I would say that the slip underneath does tend to ride up and is on the shorter side, so if that makes you uncomfortable beware. It was also clear that the dress was showing a little wear and tear around the edges of the lace (but this was nothing blatantly obvious to others). I was so, so sad to return this dress. I wish that I could make it a closet staple. It is definitely one that I would rent again!

I wore this dress for a summer wedding. The light blue is a very pretty color. The dress is well-constructed; made out of a sturdier fabric. Based on some of the other reviews I was worried the skirt would be too short, but it wasn't for me. I picked up sizes 2 and 4, and I ended up wearing the size 2. It was a snug fit except for the top half of the dress as it gapped a fair amount in the chest area. The was mostly noticeable around the arms. I wish I had been able to try the size 0 for a better fit. For someone who runs on the smaller side of a B-cup, I have found the larger chest sizing to be an issue with Elizabeth & James dresses as a whole.

I wore this dress for a Gatsby-themed wedding. It was gorgeous dress and I received tons of compliments. The material is thick and sturdy, making it feel very well constructed. It is on the shorter side, but as others have mentioned, the feathers more than make up for it. I have wider hips and it fit comfortably snug, however, the chest was HUGE. My bust size is generally between a 32/34B and the top half of the dress had significant gaps around the arms and in the front-chest area. I didn't have another dress to wear as this was a wedding I had to travel to, so I just tried to keep my arms to my sides to make the gaps less noticeable. If it weren't for this issue, this dress would have been perfection!

The length was perfect; short enough to be fun and show off some leg, but not enough to be inappropriate for an outdoor wedding. The 0 fit a little too snugly around the shoulders where I was afraid it would limit the movement of my arms too much otherwise the dress might rip. The picture doesn't show it well, but the fit at the waist was tight enough to give the dress a good amount of definition - it wasn't so loose that I felt I needed a belt to tie it all together. The color and lace are pretty. You can see the lining through the tulle, but that didn't bother me. I loved the tulle underskirt - it made this dress so much fun to wear and dance in!
