This is a beautiful, classy dress that you will get plenty of compliments for! Everyone loved the back (totally forgot to take a pic of it). I ordered a L and an XL as back-up. I chose “true to size” in the overall fit drop down because of the difference between sizing. The difference between those sizes was night and day. The L was initially tight but not uncomfortable, while I was swimming in the XL. It was baggy and unflattering for my shape. I saw another woman with similar body stats to mine so I was thinking I was going to wear the XL but we carry our weight differently so the sizes we each picked worked for us. My hips are wide so I had to pull the dress down every once in a while to stop it from rising up lol but overall it was a great dress!

I always read the reviews before getting a dress and I'm glad I did for this one! Although, I would typically wear a regular dress versus petite or long, I opted for the long version of this dress and it was the perfect length for me at 5'7. It just touched the ground but didn't drag and covered my feet Morticia style so you couldn't see I had flats on the whole night :) If you're big up top in the chest like I am, I recommend getting dress tape so that you don't accidentally flash anyone. I had to keep pulling the dress down and pulling the straps back just to keep the front up. It's a form fitting dress, tight on the hips and a little loose in the midsection but not unflattering. I'd rent again but would have the pasties ready ahead of time.

Although it's summer, I tend to still go for longer dresses as I'm more comfortable in them. I saw this dress, found out it was stretchy and forgiving to the body and knew I had to get it. I'm very curvy so I felt confident it would look good for a black tie wedding. I got tons of compliments and I felt great in the dress. Super comfortable, form fitting, classy, and sexy. Loved the color as well. It's a little long even for a Regular size so I'd recommend wearing heels. I'm 5'7 and had 3-4 inch heels on and it was still a little long. Nothing a little lift can't help once in a while. No bra needed (it would show in the back anyway). Wear seamless panties or a thong if anything as you can see lines. All that aside, I would definitely rent this again!

I was photographing a day wedding and wanted something comfortable but long so I wouldn't have to worry about bending over or bending down for shots. I thought this was a beautiful dress visually. I read the reviews before renting and while many women said it wasn't flattering to their bodies, I figured eh, everyone's body type is different. I'm very curves myself up top and in the hips. Got the dress and I loved how it felt on but agreed with the other women about how it doesn't really flatter your body but it's not really meant to. It's long and extremely flowy. Lots of fabric. Long enough to reach my ankles but not touch the floor but you gotta grab a whole lot of it up front when going up the stairs. I loved the colors and those who saw it on me loved the dress. Thought it was beautiful. Not itchy at all and very comfortable. I saw this in another color that I would try and would probably rent it again but I'll keep trying new dresses as I see them.

I'm 5'6 and I'm generally a size 12/14 when it comes to pants or dress sizes so I decided to order the L and XL (just in case). I did not try on the XL, since the large fit perfectly, however I do have wide hips, so I wonder if the XL would have been more forgiving on them and made me worry less about that high slit in the back (they definitely could've closed it up another inch or two, but I just pulled the dress down as needed during the night. (Pretty sure this happens to all of us from time to time) I ordered this dress without looking at all of the pictures and didn't realize how low the back was! After trying the dress on, any insecurities I had about myself vanished. It covered my legs at the perfect height and complimented my back just right (was nervous about back fat, but this dress hugged me just the right way...hey, I'm just being honest!) It was totally comfortable and the best part was not having to wear a bra, but you're held in so well, that it's not even an issue. The sequins might be the only downside if your arms are constantly rubbing against them, but overall I LOVED this dress and would absolutely rent again.
