This was my backup dress and I didn't wear it. It's June, and although black can be appropriate, this is a VERY heavy fabric. It also has lace panels down the sides, on the hips and legs, giving it a 'gothic' look I didn't notice that when I rented it. It's very substantial and very formal. Lots of weight to carry around. It is an amazing hourglass and is very forgiving of small body flaws, since the fabric is substantial, and not at all flimsy

THis dress was awesome. I"m so glad I chose it! It looked fantastic on and I got loads of compliments. The back of it is amazing - it makes your butt look great. It's true to size - I normally wear a 4 in pants and dresses, and the 4 fit perfectly. I got the regular length and wore just 2 inch heels, and it was fine. I also wore a strapless bra with absolutely no problems -I don't understand reviewers who say yuou can't wear a bra - it just has to be strapless. I am fairly thin with a pretty flat stomach, but I still felt like I needed to wear spanx because this is a verrrry clingy fabric. Some medium control spanx things from Victoria's Secret and it looked super smooth. Note that the color looks VERY different in person. It's closer to my photo than the model photo. I was expecting a greener color, but this is more a peacock blue. But it's a great pop of color in a sea of black dresses.
